Passion for diving Chris Russello received his first scuba diving certification in October 1972. He has over 10,000 dives to his credit, (and is still counting).

Because of his passion for diving, he left the corporate world in 1997 and opened his first ALOHA DIVE store. He currently holds a worldwide certification as a NAUI Course Director and is a Regional Training Director with NASE. In addition to these current certifications, Chris was a SSI Master Instructor Certifier, SSI Advance Nitrox Instructor, SSI Tek Instructor, TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor

, SDI Instructor, ANDI Safeair1 and 2 Instructor and has held an instructor rating with another agencies. Additionally he is an equipment specialist and holds multiple factory certifications as a Master Repair technician. Chris also holds a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine 200 ton Captain’s license. Deb Disney is a partner, the Lead Instructor, Marketing Director and Coordinator for all ADVENTURES IN SCUBA NC trips. She started her diving career in early 2015 and it has become her passion in life. Since the time she started, she has logged over 2000 dives and has achieved a Master Diver, TEK 1 and is an Instructor Trainer with both NAUI & NASE. Deb always is smiling and brings a positive, professional and passionate attitude to the business of diving. The family and friends of ADVENTURES IN SCUBA NC love working and diving with her.

Our group on Thursday minus Morgan and Mark. Saw the biggest parrot fish ever, had to have been 18” long and about 5” wide. Thank you Dressel Divers for some nice dives.

I'm bad...Chris & Kevin went to the quarry on 4/25 with open water & AOW students. Everyone did GREAT!!!! Here is the happy group after a day of diving! Congratulations to everyone on a great day!

Another change to Raja Ampat trip. We sold one space and one is still available for a male. I really want to sell this so I can send the money to our customer that paid and cannot go due to soldier duties. Anyone out there interested? We are also planning upon going to Monado for 5 days after we get off the boat (for anyone interested). This is a chance to get around 25 dives in and dive some pristine reefs! We still have the cabin available. This cabin has been paid for but I want to sell it so that I can refund to those that paid. One is a soldier that has been deployed....we really want him to be reimbursed! Anyone out there interested???? Call the shop and let's go on a trip of a lifetime!

Who wants to go to Raja Ampat? Due to something unfortunate one male cannot go. I have ONE spot available. Cost is $2950 for 6 nights 9/6/26 - 9/12-26 aboard the Aurora Liveaboard.
