Week 3 on the trail we were down at the south haven Steel Headers pro/am. We started on Friday with a 1st place finish in the Ladies tournament! The weekend came and we had no problem catching limits but didn’t have the size we needed and ended up in the middle of the pack both days.

Week 2 on the trail in the Schu’s shootouts spectacular! The fishing is on fire and we had are limits! But not the weight we needed and finished middle of the pack both days.

We are back on the trail! First week in the Hoosier coho club “quake” classic. We finished 3rd in very unfamiliar waters.

We ended our tournament trail season at Saugatuck’s big lake classic. It was a lot of fun! Starting Friday in the spectator’s shootout we hammered the chinook and finished in 6th place. The weekend came and the massive bait balls and pods of chinook’s disappeared. We struggled to catch the numbers like we had Friday but the fish we caught were solid. This 19.8 lb Lake trout won us the ROD BOSS big laker bonus and won 4th in the big fi$h. it’s what we needed! We finished the 333 in 5th place winning the Outdoorsmen pro shop prize package. That strong finish gave us our 3rd big score for the founder’s cup!
Now we wait, we are currently in 5th place overall but there are two tournaments left Manistee and Frankfort. The northern teams will be posting their final scores over the next two weekends. We will post an update when it’s over and they announce the top 10 winner$. Hopefully, we can hang on!!

We had a great weekend of competition in the Holland Big Red Classic. Awesome weather and lots of hungry fish. Time on the dock with our family’s. Seeing old friends and making new ones. Starting Friday, the ladies had a blast catching jacks, but we struggled to get the mature fish in the net and finished in 24th . On Saturday we caught this 21.82 lb Chinook that won us 8th place in the big fi$h. We had trouble landing fish every day, but especially on Saturday we only caught 6 fish and ended up in a hole we couldn’t climb out of. We finished in 20th in Pro. After all the lost fish we somehow still managed a decent 333 weight . We finished in 8th winning the outdoorsman’s pro shop prize package! That is a huge score in our hunt for the founder’s cup!

We made our northern migration for the Ludington offshore classic. starting Friday, the ladies had a great day catching Jack kings and decent trout, we finished in 19th. Saturday was the start of the classic and we decided to make a move to try and find some better fish. it worked! we had a great day ; we weighed our 12 fish and were going into day 2 in 5th place! We were all set up for a podium finish! until Sunday we went back to the same spot and the fish had moved. We struggled to catch 8 fish. We finished in a disappointing 22nd. At least we managed to throw up a decent 333 score that will help us in the founders cup! And we are all looking forward to a busy next few weeks following the tournament trail back to our home waters!

We made our 2025 tournament debut in the Grand Haven offshore. Starting Thursday in the legends we had a great day and placed 4th. Friday was the ladies turn and stayed on that momentum, but ended up in 8th. Saturday day one was cut short due to weather conditions and we ended up in a hole we couldn’t dig out of and finish in 12th in the open. Huge congrats to team kicker who took home the trophy!!!
