Why is the Student Angler Tournament Trail Presented by Lund & Rapala Team Event so amazing? Does it give you TOY points? No. Does it give you an opportunity to get into the TOC? No.

Does it assist in teaching anglers lessons and skills that they will use lifelong? Absolutely! Will it form lifelong friendships and memories? Yes. SLP anglers talk about their SATT State Team experiences for years! This event guides anglers down the path of establishing skills that form strong leaders, strong anglers, and bonds of friendship. These anglers learn and exhibit skills of leadership, teamwork, delegation, allocation of responsibility, understanding the importance of ensuring all voices are heard, respect and being humble yet always striving to perform with the mental wherewithal of a competition angler. Thank you for this experience!

Congratulations Grand Rapids, STMA and Brainerd for your podium wins. Congratulations all teams who fished in the event for making this such a great weekend!!

Tomorrow is the big day! 26 SATT school teams will be competing on beautiful Pelican Lake in Orr, MN, for the SATT State Team Title! 💙

These teams have worked hard all season, and tomorrow they’ll put it all on the line as they compete for their school and the chance to be crowned SATT State Team Champions!

👏 Good luck to all 26 teams! Fish hard, have fun, represent your schools with pride, and make some great memories out on the water!
