The White Flag is waving on the 75 Most Impactful Drivers.
Rusty Turbush, continuing the Turbush Family name is Rusty. Another smooth, keep calm type driver behind the wheel, he'd find Victory Lane 25 times in the Charger Division and taking the 2002 Championship. Rusty has found himself behind the wheel recently, racing with his son Brandon. He was inducted to the Wall of Champions. Him and brother Dan sit on the wall along with their pops, Charlie.
Frank Vigliarolo Jr. is a 2 time Modified Champion, going back to back in 1999-2000. Vigs influence and impact might have been even bigger in the pits with his team. He'd find success with Bear Motorsports team of Billy Callicchio, also finding it with his Frankie's Towing #5.
Robin Vollmoeller, a huge fan favorite in his dark blue #2 Street Stock from the days of Islip to racing at his home track of Riverhead with 30 Charger wins, some of those victories taking place when the class was known as the Novice and Bomber divisions. Vollmoeller also scored 16 wins in the class now known as the Late Models which previously ran under the Grand American & Street Stock banner. He also tallied a NASCAR Modified win and won several Truck Enduro features and helped shape the division that track sees today.. Robin's name is on our Wall of Champions.
Tommy Walkowiak “The Wildchild” Tommy Walkowaik scored his first of 63 Blunderbusts wins on June 30th, 2001 after spending several seasons competing in Spectator Drag, Car Rollover, 8-Cylinder Enduro and Demolition Derby events. It was during a Spectator Drag event that Walkowiak was dubbed “The Wildchild” as he competed in his candy apple red Corvette that was is in showroom condition, he won. Aside from his 63 career victories Walkowiak went on a championship run that found him winning five Blunderbust titles in six years, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 & 2011.
Joe Warren Jr. got his start in the go-kart ranks finding his way in multiple divisions from INEX Legends to Blunderbust, he'd woild find a lot of success in the 4/6 Cyl Enduros, claiming many wins and still is finding his way into the Enduros from time to time and will be threat for the "W". Joey, leads the Mini Stocks in all-time wins with 17 wins, taking the 2019 Championship and also in 2024. He's been known to still fly the Trinca symbol on his rides for late go-kart standout Jason Trinca. Also a huge influence on Joe was TK Tommy Kraft, Joe has paid tribute many time after q win, doing a burnout right where TK used to officiate the races. Joe would take the Figure 8 Championship in 2020. Joe now has a fleet of Mini Stocks, like his mentor did with the Figure 8s and has recently been racing in the Crate Modifieds
