Happy National Wildlife Day from Weeki's most loyal visitors.

Long before there was a park, there was a spring. These peacocks have been wandering these grounds longer than most of us have been coming here, completely unbothered by the crowds, the cameras, or the calendar.

They're not part of the show. They're just part of Weeki.

Labor Day means one more shot at the slides before the calendar flips to fall.

Get here before the crowd does. After Labor Day, slides and the lazy river run weekends only through September. Swimming stays open daily.

Something's brewing on the river this fall. We're calling it the Witches Paddle, our first ever Halloween morning on the water, happening Saturday, October 31st from 7am to 10am.

Wear your best witch or wizard costume and join us for a paddle down the Weeki Wachee River, departing at 8am. Every paddler gets a full breakfast buffet and a medal just for finishing, plus a shot at the best dressed contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Rent a kayak for $60, or bring your own for a private launch at $40. Spots are limited for our very first year.

Tiny teacups. Tiny mermaids. One magical afternoon.

The Magical Mermaid Tea Party brings sparkle, sweets, and a visit from real mermaids together for one unforgettable evening at the Coral Room.
Each child gets the full mermaid makeover, hair, makeup, dress, and tiara, plus a mermaid buffet, treats, arts and crafts, music, and a goodie bag to take home.

Upcoming dates: Friday, September 18. Doors open at 6pm and the party runs until 8pm, with the gift shop open a little later for last minute finds.

Price is $150 per child, which includes one adult, with additional adults at $25. Park admission is separate.

3 tips for your first float down the Weeki Wachee River 🛶

1.Go early. Mornings mean calmer water, more wildlife sightings, and fewer crowds on the launch.
2.Waterproof your phone. You will want photos of every turn, but this river does not play around with dry bags.
3.Look up, not just around. Birds perch in the branches overhead and it is easy to miss them if you are only watching the water.
