What a day! God is so good!!! Weather was awesome! We exceeded our expectations! Great turnout! Mattie Pruitt did an awesome job! Hopefully she will grace us with this every year! Thank you SHHS JROTC for posting the flag! Thank you to everyone that came out! Thank you to all the volunteers! Mattie Pruitt (born April 15, 2009) is a local from Eagleville, TN and musician, who was a finalist on American Idol season 23. Mattie Pruitt will be singing our National Anthem on Saturday November 29, 2025 at the Spring Hill Turkey Burn. We are so blessed to have her donate her time to great cause.

Happy Race Week Turkey Burners!!! For reasons unknown to me, I have attempted to post a video 3 times and each time its gets removed! So, forget the video, here’s a text post!

Announcement # 1 – We have secured our National Anthem Singer! If you are an American Idol fan, our singer was a Top10 performer in Season 23 (last year!). We are thrilled to have her sing at this years event. Mattie Pruitt, we can’t wait to hear you sing! Huge thank you to her Dad as well, he is a big part of the race logistics operation!

Announcement # 2 –Race Route – Updated routes are linked on the RunSignup.com/SHTB page.

For the Half Marathon folks, please see the attached flyover video for this years route. It has changed a bit, hopefully a little less confusing. Both races will circle the high school at the start of the route and at the end of the route (like 2 years ago). The half marathon though, you will run in the small front parking lot at the start of the race, but you will not at the end of the race.
The half-marathon turnaround is just before you get back to Cleburne/Railroad tracks.

As always, plenty of signs and volunteers will be out there helping to guide everyone!
