Rock The Rez is back again this year bringing camps to SIX communities in South Dakota, Minnesota, and a *mini* camp in Denver, Colorado!!! (AUGUST 6, NOT JULY 6 in Denver!)

What is Rock the Rez? It’s a 5-day summer day camp for Indigenous GIRLS, TWO-SPIRIT, GENDER DIVERSE, AND LGBTQ+ youth! Learn a rock n’ roll instrument, participate in cultural workshops, art and music workshops, and karaoke, obviously.

We provide transport if needed, two meals a day, snacks, and glitter. This is an opportunity to create a band and write an original song with other campers!

What a way to celebrate the last day of school at Spring Creek School! 🎉🥧

Our students who achieved BOTH on grade level in Reading and Math earned the chance to “Pie the Principal” in the face — and they definitely made the most of it! 😄

We are beyond proud of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance our students showed all year long. From academic growth to being good relatives, our students continue to shine in so many ways.

Thank you to our families, staff, and community for supporting our wakanyeja every step of the way. Have a safe, fun, and restful summer! We love you, students! ❤️

✨Spring Creek Middle School Students traveled to He Dog for a Pre Medical Event shared by Creighton University: Students engaged is wound care, learning about muscles, tendons, and bones; they were able to ask questions about the medical field and all the different kinds of occupations there are other than just becoming a doctor. ✨

Reflecting on their hopes and dreams from the beginning of the year to the end of the year how and they worked hard towards their dreams and hopes. This reminds our students to stay focused, keep accomplishing, and continue to strive for success.
