SKULL UPDATE!!!

Dear Skull Skraper family,

As of last night, ALL of the skulls (200+) have been cleaned off and/or some whitened!

Some not finished 💯 but cleaned off so that you can take them home! I have worked non stop for 6 weeks, with many other hands/family/friends to HONOR MY LOVE, Ron, and this passion of ours, to finish this part of the business before I move forward with my own journey! It was so important to me to get these skulls back into your hands!

My sisters, Alexis and Samantha, have been calling all of our clients to let you know if your skull is ready to be picked up. If you haven’t received a call please reach out to me, Rachael, at 213.792.3067. If you have received a call please call me to set up a time for pick up.

Update:
I am now starting the process of going through the skulls that we have left and what my goal is for them! Thank you all for your love, support, understanding and patience!

Here’s what to expect as things move forward as I try to honor Ron, my love, and this business that we had built up together!

I will be calling you to come pick up your skull and it may be from numbers you may not recognize such as my number which has a 213 area code.
- If the skull is cleaned off to the bone but not yet primed (base coat of paint necessary before dipping) for dipping then I’ll ask for it to be picked up. I will not be able to complete it.
- If your request was to have your skull whitened, I will be completing those as that was my most enjoyable part of the process which I myself did often.
- There will still be a charge for those skulls that I/we had to skin and clean getting them ready for the next step even if they are not 100% completed at pick up!

Thank you all again for your love and support and to all who had reached out in some way! It was felt and much appreciated by myself and family!

With a heavy heart, I regret to inform you all, our loyal wonderful Skull Skraper clients/family, that our beloved friend Ron Poplawski has passed away unexpectedly.

We will be taking a step back from the business to plan, process the loss and move through the first couple weeks of this heart wrenching event.

Please know we appreciate your support and know we will have more details in the passing month as to how we will move forward with current clients and other details

A few more skulls out the door. This OHIO STATE themed buck was a challenge. We nailed it. The second buck is a big rack on a small head. He was a young deer with one hell of a rack. The last buck is another burnt look that makes it look old. We love be creative. Thank you for trusting us with your trophies.

Just finished up a Bull Elk and Moose for a couple clients. We did a burnt look on the Elk and a traditional whiten on the Moose. First time that we did the jaw on a large animal. I think it looks complete with the jaw. Please like and share our post. Happy Hunting.

Look at this beauty we finished up and said goodbye to! From start to finish! And the happy owner picking him up, Darla. The back story to this gorgeous longhorn is that this guy was the first of their herd…the one that stared it all, their baby…now their in the 30’s. His name was Whiskey and he had passed suddenly overnight! They wanted to honor him and do something beautiful with his skull! We were so happy and honored that they chose us!

We dipped this bison skull in “THE AMENDMENTS” pattern. Polished up the horns. Wrapped the bases with rope and hung beads with turkey feathers off its horn. We are donating this beautiful piece to The Lower Lackawanna Long Spurs NWTF banquet this Saturday February 5th in Taylor PA. This will be going on the live auction. Come out and support your local National Wild Turkey Federation chapter. It’s a good time.
