Our Monthly and Annual Meeting was held last night May 7 at the Clubhouse. Results from the Annual meeting election of Officers are: Kermit Van Roekel, President, Dale Minder VP, Pete Adams, Secy, Angie Myers, Treas. We want to thank outgoing Secy Deane for many yrs of service. Other Business: Voted to retain the membership fee schedule voted in 2025 for annual members ie 2027 Annual will be $55. Rich Humphrey and Pete Adams will take on the role of Archery coordinators for 2026. Priority will be to get better targets and finish the set up of the 3D range.
On the Monthly meeting side-we only had 7 come for Work Day, so much yet to do. Pistol range needs targets in front of the shelter, and the diversion wall protecting the gong reset. Trap received a donation of a scorer wood shelter, and the Club approved acquiring 2 more for Trap and S***t.
We found 50 cal BMG shells on the range. Those are NOT allowed. Those damages our equipment and we already have a damage liability clause- violators will owe and could have membership revoked.

Yesterday we had 12 Shooters compete in our second Precision Rimfire Match of the season. The day was beautiful, but once again the wind picked up to make a challenging shooting day!

If you are interested, you should join in the fun with our shooters. Our next match is Sunday June 7th.

Scores for yesterday's match have been posted to Practiscore, the NRL22 and PRO Series sites as well as the clubs website.

Congrats to some of our newer shooters who have really stepped up their shooting the last couple of months!

Yesterday we held our First Precision Rimfire Match of the season. It was a cold and windy day which led to some challenging shooting conditions. Even so, the shooters had a great time. IRPC will have the Club Secretary slot open for election at the May Annual meeting.
After many years of supporting the Club, Deane is stepping away to focus more on family and her work role.- Many 'Thanks!'

Secy Duties include: Documenting Club Minutes & Board actions, Keeping the Member list and sending the cards as required, Updating the Club Calendar, Web Page and Facebook upkeep, Correspondence (getting the mail in Spooner) and any legal filings as required.

Due to a lack of shooters signed up, we are canceling the NRL22 / PRO Series match previously scheduled for Sunday October 26th. As this was our last Precision Rimfire Match of the year, we are looking forward to starting up a new year of competitive shooting in the Spring. This last Saturday IRPC Hosted the Northwoods Rimfire Rumble - 2026 PRO Series National Qualifier sponsored by Gunfighter Targets, DST Precision, Xtreme Outdoors and Vortex Optics.
