Northwest Express Announce Signing of Mason and Hunter Rappel
Spooner, WI — Proud members of the NCDC, the Northwest Express are pleased to announce the signing of brothers Mason Rappel and Hunter Rappel for the upcoming season.
The Rappel brothers bring a unique and valuable dynamic to the Express lineup, a natural chemistry developed over years of playing together. Their ability to anticipate each other’s movements, generate offense, and play at a high pace makes them an exciting addition to the roster.
“We’re extremely excited to welcome Mason back and Hunter to Spooner,” said Express General Manager Joe Dibble. “Anytime you can bring in two players with that kind of built-in chemistry, it elevates your team immediately. They compete hard, they play fast, and they represent exactly what we want the Northwest Express to be about.”
Both Mason and Hunter have demonstrated strong development habits, high compete levels, and a commitment to improving every day, aligning perfectly with the Express mission of developing elite young men both on and off the ice.
“They’re driven, they’re coachable, and they understand what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves,” Dibble added. “Our fans are going to love the energy and consistency they bring every single night.”
Beyond their on-ice contributions, the Rappel brothers are expected to make an immediate impact within the Spooner community, continuing the Express tradition of leadership, mentorship, and engagement with local youth hockey.
The Northwest Express continue to build a roster centered around culture, development, advancement, and the addition of Mason and Hunter Rappel marks another important step forward for the organization.
