This is Jim’s family. It is with broken hearts that we must share that Jim passed away on August 4th, after a two year battle with cancer. Jim loved sharing the joy of fishing. No matter the catch at the of the day, the time spent on the water was time well spent. Thank you to all the friends, fishing community, and great customers who have made Jim’s dream of being a guide a reality. If you make it out on the water this August, do as Jim did, share your time and take someone with you to enjoy the outdoors.

Sometimes the size of the fish isn’t what makes a catch memorable. Sometimes it’s the other things make a big difference, like the company you were with, the special lake or river you were fishing, or the unusual way the fish was caught all make the memory. With this fish it was all those other things that I’ll remember about this fish. It was a great day!
