Island City F.C. can confirm that former WPASL All-League selection and Team President Ezra Walt suffered a serious injury in preseason, and as a result, will be forced to miss the full 2026 WPASL season.

Though we’ll all miss Ezra’s wizardry on the pitch this summer, we know that El Mago will be back pulling his tricks again on the field soon 🙏

Island City F.C’s thoughts and well wishes are with MB United and their captain Hayden Schill, who suffered a serious injury in the first half of Sunday’s season opener, which will likely end his season.

Soccer is a physical sport, and it always hurts when a friend and rival suffers because of it.
