🏔️ Summit Road opens for the summer season. The State Park will have it open daily until dusk. Come up for a hike, pack a lunch and enjoy the views.

This past weekend gave us one last great stretch on the mountain—sunshine, soft snow, and plenty of smiles. It was a wonderful way to close out the season together.

With current warm temperatures and the snowpack rapidly diminishing, Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard Park is now closed for the 2025–26 season. Without a strong base remaining on the mountain, we don’t anticipate conditions will allow us to extend the season any further. While this winter brought its share of challenges, our community continued to show up. Your enthusiasm, patience, and support made a real difference throughout the season.

We’re incredibly proud of our staff and volunteers who stayed committed to our nonprofit mission of making winter recreation accessible to everyone. Our Ski & Ride School, race programs, terrain park crew, grooming team, and volunteer Ski Patrol all worked tirelessly to keep the mountain operating and our guests safe.

Most importantly, thank you to our season passholders. Your support doesn’t just keep lifts turning today—it’s an investment in the mountain’s future. Your commitment allows us to plan summer projects, improve facilities, and prepare the mountain for an even stronger season next winter.

While the lifts have stopped turning for now, our team is already hard at work planning improvements and projects for next year.

From all of us at Mt. Spokane, thank you for being part of the season. We look forward to seeing you back on the mountain next winter.

Yesterday was amazing!! Let’s do it again 🙌

Today is the final day of the season, and it’s shaping up to be a good one. The sun is out, and the mountain is buzzing! We’ll be spinning lifts until 3 pm today, then closing a little early to celebrate our employees and the work they’ve put in all season.

This will be the final day for now. With warm ground temperatures and a warm week ahead, we’re not sure how the snow will hold up. As we’ve seen this week, snow miracles can happen—so if they do, a few bonus weekends may still be possible. But for now, let’s go out on a high note!

Don’t count Mt. Spokane out quite yet.

It’s dumping snow right now—just in time for one last weekend on the mountain! After last week’s warm temperatures and high winds, it looked like the season might have been over. Ego Flats was down to more dirt than snow.

But in true Mt. Spokane fashion, and consistent with the rest of this wild winter, Mother Nature has thrown us one more curveball. The forecast now calls for up to 5-10 inches of fresh snow over the next couple of days, and while it won’t be enough to keep the season going much longer—especially with unusually warm temperatures expected next week—it will give us the chance for one final fun weekend on the mountain. So let’s make the most of it!

We invite you to join us for Season Passholder Appreciation Weekend at Mt. Spokane—a chance to get in a few more turns, connect with friends, and celebrate the season together. Show your pass and score free hot dogs and hamburgers on Saturday (while supplies last)!

Whether the snow keeps falling or not, a lodge party on Saturday will happen—because this community deserves one more hoorah. Thank you for skiing, riding, and supporting Mt. Spokane all winter long. ❤️ See you on the mountain!

We’re enjoying this beautiful Friday on the mountain ☀️ The fun doesn’t stop here! Park crew just rebuilt Half Hitch, and on Saturday, the team from CAPiTA and Union are taking over the park with a free demo and a bunch of prizes. Northwood reopens this weekend too! Ski season isn’t over yet. Come get it!

Board Chair Steve Lamberson took advantage of the fresh snow that fell during night ski last night. Sometimes when you shred at night, you luck into first tracks! ❄️✨

We picked up about 6 inches of heavy snow at the summit during night ski. Conditions above the cat track are riding great and the snow is holding strong. The base is a different story. We did lose quite a bit of snow overnight at base level, but our grooming team did a great job moving snow around and filling holes where needed.

If you’ve been thinking about getting some laps under the lights, now’s the time. Night skiing wraps up March 14, so grab a few more evening turns while you can!

We want to take a moment to thank our Ski Patrollers. From early mornings to late nights, sunny laps to winter storms, they show up through it all. These legends keep us safe on the mountain, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

MSSP is one of the largest all-volunteer ski patrols in the country and has been looking out for skiers and riders since 1938. More than 150 patrollers from all walks of life make up this crew, united by one thing: taking care of our community.

Next time you see that red jacket, give them a wave. They’ve got your back out there. Drop some love for Patrol below!
