"It's with a heavy heart but a tremendous amount a gratitude I announce I will no longer coach Chelan's Boy's Basketball program. I feel fortunate and grateful for 8 amazing years as part of the Chelan Basketball family! I would like to thank all of our players, coaches, parents and administrators that made my time coaching here so memorable. I'm overwhelmed by the support and love I've received these past few days from coaches, friends, parents and fans from all over the State. Basketball has been my such a big part of my life since I was a kid, and I'm eternally grateful for the opportunities the game has given me. However, I'm looking forward to focusing my time with my family. To all our present and past GOATS that know me as "Coach Pearl", I love you and I'll always cherish the time we had TOGETHER." - Jeff Pearl
Sad news out of the Athletic Director's office at Chelan High School today. Head Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Pearl has resigned to spend more time with his family.
Jeff Pearl , Chelan High School boys head basketball coach has resigned.
“Jeff and I spoke at the end of the season. He wants to be able to spend more time with his wife, his two young boys, and his family. He wants to be able to coach his son(s) in the future. He is a great teacher here at Chelan Middle School, and even though he loves coaching and loves the kids he coaches - I’m proud of him in making a decision that benefits his family and children.”
“I really appreciate all the time, sacrifice and effort Jeff put in to our basketball program.”
Chelan High school will open the job immediately and we will do a full search to fill the Boys Basketball HC position.
Go Goats.
