Yesterday, the Indian Canyon 18-Hole Ladies League teed it up in their annual, year-end Beat the Pro Challenge. 26 ladies turned out for this event to see if they could put up an 18-hole, individual, net score that beat one (or several) of our beloved Indian Canyon PGA professionals’ net scores. The pros competing for The Canyon were Karina Davila, Dawson Strobel, Isaac Hall, and Sam Pauly - all of whom played great golf, especially Sam who fired a gross 63! But handicaps exist in the game of golf to level the playing field and yesterday fourteen of our 18-Hole Ladies carded net scores that beat one or all of our pros!
The top honor of the day goes to Julie Herro who shot a net 67 beating Sam’s net 68 by one and the rest of the pros by several more. All of the players who successfully beat the pros are listed below.
Thank you to everyone who played and thank you to our amazing pros who put up a good fight!

We had spectacular weather and ridiculous pin placements for today’s Sidehill Scramble at The Canyon!!!
With a full field of scramblers, we saw more missed putts today than we do most Saturdays, but there was also some pretty spectacular play, including hole-outs for eagles on both 9 and 16!!! A fun day was certainly had by all.

Happy October, Canyon Golfers!!!

Seems like only yesterday it was just September, but as you all know time flies when we're having fun and as such, we’re now peering down the stretch of our final month of golf for the season. That said, the weather is still amazing and the current forecast calls for highs in the 70s the entire next week, so get out here and tee it!

Our next and final-final (final, final) tournament for the year will be the ever-popular Sidehill Scramble on Saturday Oct. 10th. As of right now the tournament is totally sold out, so If you’re lucky enough to be signed up, you should be out here practicing those 47ft. uphill, triple-breaking putts!

For the next few weeks we’ll continue to host our regular Friday skins game and the “Big Friday Game” with the boosted prized fund will take place Oct. 16th - more details will be sent out in the next week or two about that one.

Lastly, registration for winter lessons is now open and space is limited. Contact the pro shop to get signed up.

Over this last weekend, Indian Canyon PGA professional, Karina Davila hosted “Clase de Golf en Espanol.” Karina’s Spanish-language golf clinics have become more and more popular each year; this Sunday we had perfect weather for the thirteen golfers in attendance for Clase de Golf and a great time was had by all!

Good Tuesday Morning, Canyon Golfers and Happy Autumnal Equinox to those of you who celebrate!!!

With falling leaves and the scent of pumpkin spice in the air, we are happy to welcome in Fall today after what was a very busy Summer.

While the Canyon’s calendar of events is looking pretty light for the rest of this month and next, the weather is still amazing and there's a lot of golf to be played.
We’ll continue to host our regular Friday skins games each week until we close for the year, so if you’re looking to play call the pro shop to get into the game.

Lastly, our season-ending romp, The Sidehill Scramble is coming up October 10th and there’s only room for a few more teams to register. If you’ve never played in The Sidehill before, it’s a 4-player scramble with pin placements so diabolical, you’ll be ready for winter by the time you’re done with the round - it’s a blast!!!

Happy Monday, Canyon Golfers!!!

It’s beginning to feel a lot like autumn, there’s been a nip in the air and that rain on Sunday sure freshened things up, but don’t put away the shorts just yet, the forecast calls for temps in the 70s all through this week and into next, so why not come play some golf?

This Saturday we’ll be having the final Indian Canyon Men’s Club tournament of the season, the 2-Man Beast-Ball and as of this writing there are still some spots open for a few more teams. Check out the pinned post above and get signed up!

If you can’t play in the tournament this weekend, come play in our Friday skins game; tee times start just before noon and it’s always a great time. Call the pro shop to get on the tee sheet.

Happy Tuesday, Canyon Golfers!!!

We hope you all enjoyed the long Labor Day Weekend; we know some of you definitely got out here to play some golf, we saw you swinging it in the wind and rain yesterday!

Summer may be coming to an end, but we’ve still got two good months of the golf season left and now with school back in session, the tee sheet is a bit less crowded. The weather is looking up for the rest of this week, so come on out and play some golf!

The next and final Indian Canyon Men’s Club tournament for the season will be the BEAST-BALL on September 19th, see the pinned post above for more details and a link to register.

Registrations are now open for our quick 6 week fall junior golf program.

Classes start following Labor Day and run 6 weeks, ending with our popular Costume Party!

Class sizes max at 8 players per group. Multiple days and times are available.

Optional 9 hole play with family is offered on Saturday afternoons.

Cost is $280 per player, with sibling discount available.
