💚 Cody Slonim Memorial Disc Golf Tournament 💚

On October 3rd, we're coming together to celebrate the life of Cody Slonim — a man who brought love, laughter, and a whole lot of heart to this sport and this community. Cody left behind a legacy that lives on in every round played here, and we can't think of a better way to honor him than doing what he loved most.

💵 $25 entry — all divisions welcome
🥏 Memorial disc included with entry (or available separately for $25)

All proceeds and love from the day go toward honoring Cody's memory. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just want to come throw a few rounds for a good cause, everyone's welcome.

We want to apologize to anyone who recently stopped by the shop and found us unexpectedly closed during normal business hours. Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support during this time.

As many of you may now know, we recently lost Cody — founder of Iron Turtle, passionate disc golfer, valued member of Spokane’s disc golf community, and a friend to so many. Cody poured his heart into this shop and the people around it. He loved introducing new players to the game, sharing advice, helping people find the right disc, and talking with anyone who wanted to learn more about the sport he cared so deeply about.

While this sudden loss has been incredibly difficult, we know Cody would want the doors open, discs flying, and the community continuing to grow together.
We’re back to our normal schedule now and hope you’ll stop by.

In the coming weeks, we’ll also be organizing a memorial fundraiser event to help support Cody’s daughter and assist his family with funeral expenses. We’ll share more details as plans come together.

Thank you again for all the love and support you’ve shown. Hug your people, throw a good round for Cody, and keep sharing the game the way he always did.
