It’s that time!

If you’re planning to sign up for Ironman CDA 70.3, or you’re waiting for one last reason to do it, perhaps choosing your coach will finally get you to commit!

Next week, starting January 7th, will mark 24 weeks to race day. I have worked to compile some of my favorite, most effective workouts into a 24-week half ironman training plan that, combined with my experience of racing and coaching triathlon, will condition and prepare you for a great, successful race. Though workouts for each athlete will appear similar, I intend to coach each person individually to ensure I can adjust for, and meet, each person’s needs and goals as we progress into the spring and summer.

Right now, I’m only taking on athletes who have prior experience training for, and racing, triathlon. Though you need not have already done a half ironman distance triathlon, you will need prior experience in all three sports to follow my workouts successfully.

If you’re interested in learning more, private message me on Facebook. If you have friends you know who might be interested and/or aren’t on Facebook, I can be reached via email: [email protected]

Let's do it!

MF’er Andrea Frye takes 🥈 in her AG up in ALASKA today (husband, Bobby took 🥇) in a fun 5k foot race they entered on a whim. This is a huge and monumental step for Andrea’s comeback year 2022 🎉!

Hey, MFers! I'm reaching out to all of you in case you know of someone interested in hiring a coach next year. I'm hoping to round out my roster for 2022 and thought, since I rely primarily on word of mouth (yours!) I'd ask you all first. I've included a link you can share for people to apply: https://www.trimeghanf.com/p/dg-multisports.html
Perhaps the added incentive is that, by starting with me now, they can avoid the inevitable rate increase next year (of course, you all are grandfathered in. I so appreciate each and every one of you).

Tell me about you (Click on the link above for coaching inquiries) Hiring a coach requires some forethought and research, so should...

Team MFers had an amazing past weekend of racing that makes me so excited this morning I had to share:

Phill Clayton raced the IM 70.3 World Champs in St. George and superseded a bike malfunction and back spasms to finish with a respectable time in a tough environment and on a challenging course.

In Maple Valley, WA for the Ironman 70.3 race, Keely Hope-Smith finished with a half marathon PR, which means she also carefully executed her bike leg and nailed her nutrition.

Keegan Witt also finished the race with strong swim and bike legs while overcoming a couple medical concerns in T2. He has the physical AND mental capacity to tackle his first full IM next month.

David Sieck had another stellar performance to round out his year of triathlon racing, finishing Maple Valley 70.3 in a time of 5:03:56. His gutsy racing on the bike set him up for a stellar performance on the run, both of which have improved drastically over the course of this year.

Back at home in Spokane, Maja DeWolf LeBon and Sara Leahy raced the Sunday Sundae 10-miler yesterday. Maja picked up an AG win, and Sara ran a respectable pace on legs that had already run the Happy Girls Run Virtual Race on Saturday.

To say I'm MF'n proud of these MFers is an understatement. Look out for these athletes in the weeks and months to come! More races are just around the corner.

MFers Keely Hope, David Sieck, Dave Graf, Phill Clayton and Maja DeWolf LeBon are demonstrating some serious perseverance today out on the CDA Ironman course!
