Bad news first (but please stick around for the good news below):

As you may know, I have been trying to get SST off the ground for several years now. Unfortunately, the interest and commitment I needed to make it a feasible event never materialized. I have received fantastic support from some people over the years, and thank you to those of you who showed interest. At this point in time, going at this alone, planning, running a website, coming up with ads and useable photos, is just not possible monetarily or otherwise. So I gotta call it on this whole adventure, as much of a bummer as it is.

Good news!:

I am still passionate about racing and some of my ideas have found a new home. I am working with NWMS, the Spokane member club of ICSCC (Conference), to make their race this year more accessible, fun, and exciting. On that note, for the NWMS race at QRP this July 31st through August 2nd we will be incorporating Time Attack and Autocross into the schedule! We're close to ironing out all the details, but the short story is that both of these portions of the weekend will be accessible to cars that are basically autocross prepped. Please keep an eye on the NWMS page for more details, and feel free to hit me up if you want to know more. I'll leave this page up for a while anyway, and I'll try to be responsive to any messages that come through.
