Gonzaga Bomb Squad

The Gonzaga University Bomb Squad is a student-led family of passionate and spirited hip-hop dancers Est. GO ZAGS!

in 2003, Bomb Squad is a student-led, co-ed hip hop dance team at Gonzaga University that performs at men’s and women’s basketball games as well as events including Battle in Seattle, the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada, Freshmen Orientation, GEL weekend, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Spokane Hoopfest, Sports One Unified Language, and Gonzaga Scares Hunger. We also have previously participating in a

nnual fundraisers and a flash mob in Spokane's downtown Riverfront Mall. In addition, we have also competed at the UCA 2013 Regional Competition in Tacoma, WA and at compete at the 2015 UDA Regional Competition in Anaheim, CA. In 2014, Gonzaga officially named Bomb Squad as a club sport! We are a team that shares a passion for dance as all our members come from a variety of different dance backgrounds. More importantly, we pride ourselves on being a close-knit family of compassionate individuals with positive, caring, and dedicated attitudes. We practice two/three times per week and are open to all students on campus. We have one tryout a year held in mid-September and take place in the Rudolf Fitness Center Dance Studio. Bomb Squad tryouts are just under 1️⃣ MONTH away! Mandatory informational meetings will be held on Sept. 21st and 22nd from 8:30-9:30PM in College Hall 126 (must attend ONE of them to sign up for tryouts). We will discuss the rest of the tryout process and answer ALL Bomb Squad questions at these meetings, but feel free to DM us beforehand ;) We are SO STOKED to get this season started ❤️💣

WELCOME WEEKEND PERFORMANCE‼️

We had such a blast performing for the incoming freshmen and their families over the weekend! Shoutout to our captains nicola anna & Nat Bondoc for choreographing this piece and a huge thank you to our returners for coming back to campus early and taking the time to help prepare for our performances!

BOMBIE SUMMER UPDATES🌞👙⭐️
Check out how our team members have been spending their summers! Counting down the days til we’re back together again‼️🫂

Sean has been working as a receptionist at a pediatrics clinic this summer. Other highlights include recording original music with his band, a rafting trip, and plenty of sunny afternoons, lake days, and nights out with friends!

Natalie has been interning at a civil engineering consulting firm in Seattle where she is working on expansion projects for the Portland and Austin-Bergstrom international airports! Some highlights of her summer were seeing Rüfüs Du Sol at the Gorge with other Zags, spending time with family, and taking dance classes in the Seattle area

Since graduating, Eliana has traveled to San Diego with her roommates as well as to Hawaii with her family. She has also been working as a nanny for two little girls and has been hanging out with Bombie nicola !

Caitlyn has been keeping busy since returning from her semester abroad! In July, Caitlyn worked at her home dance studio in preparation for their 50th Anniversary Recital and rehearsed to perform on Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas in Mexico. She also has enjoyed spending time with her sisters and bringing baked goods to her best friend’s Dutch Bros stand.

Abby has been on the move! One of her highlights was seeing her brother graduate and listening to John Green’s speech as the Keynote speaker. She’s most looking forward to going to the Kali Uchis concert with her sister!

Sammie has been spending a lot of time with friends and family after being abroad, making some crafts, and babysitting. She also started training for her clinical psychology internship in Seattle. Her highlight was going to the Madison Beer concert with her friend!

Lydia has been babysitting over the past several weeks and is now spending the rest of the summer as a camp counselor and dance instructor at a sleepaway camp in New Hampshire. One of her favorite summer highlights was going back to Spokane to watch her classes perform at their dance recitals!

Sophie has been working as both a nanny and a restaurant hostess this summer. Outside of work, she’s enjoye
