After the high winds and heat we brought home two cars in one piece with a lot learned. First time back at Wenatchee in three years. Overall feel like the mini stocks put on a heck of a show due to 50 mph winds and phones blowing up because of watch duty fires back home. Went out first practice and the 8 car felt good just trying to re figure out the track and the 168 car decided to shut off loosing a coil wire and it was actually a blessing that saved the motor due to the timing belt tensioner walked the belt of the front of the motor. With the help of our best crew and Marshall racing for the belt (we had the wrong one) we where able to get the car done with just enough time to scuff new tires in the last minutes of practice two. Main event time came around and it was good racing door to door a lot of action with only two cautions the 8 car wrapped up the night 8th and the 168 got caught up in a late race incident ending 13th. Overall we can’t thank our crew enough for the down and back very long day and as always
