Shotokan Karate of Spokane Our Goal at Shotokan Karate of Spokane is to promote the Art of Karate through the Philosophies of Gichin Funakoshi (founder of Shotokan Karate).

Matthew Thomas, 6th degree black belt (Rokudan) is its chief instructor.
