4Throws — The Choice of Champions.

When you throw a regular discus, it's natural to get distracted by how far it goes or how it flies. Valarie’s secret? She uses the Discus Training Tool—a specialized heavy ball with a handle—to throw directly into a net.

By removing the distraction of watching the throw's flight, she can get twice as much work done in the exact same amount of time. Throwing into the net allows her to completely dial in on what matters most:
🎯 Body positioning
⚙️ Technique and feel
⏱️ Rhythm and timing

Available in 2lb and 4lb weights, this tool is her constant go-to for perfecting mechanics no matter where she is in the world.

Train like a champion and upgrade your technique.

WHERE PREPARATION MEETS PERFORMANCE.

The Iron Wood Classic brings together the pursuit of excellence and the discipline behind every throw.

Every approach, every release, every mark reflects the work that happens long before competition day.

In Rathdrum, Idaho, elite throwers come together with one purpose: to compete at their highest level.

At 4Throws, we believe the details matter. The preparation matters. And the work behind the performance deserves recognition.

Some of the athletes competing today could be the faces you see at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics!

As Ironwood founder Bart points out, this event is a rare chance to see world-class throwers up close in real life. It's the perfect opportunity to grab some autographs, talk to multiple Olympians, and watch the best in the world do what they do best.

Drop a 💥 if you're excited for 2028!

Checking in from the Ironwood Throwing Center in Rathdrum, Idaho, for the Ironwood Classic!
Brian caught up with Ironwood founder, Bart, for an incredible day of track and field action.

With the men’s hammer and women’s shot put in full swing—plus a necessary stop at the waffle truck—this was definitely the place to be.
