I hope everyone had a great spring and summer! It is amazing how fast it has gone by.

The new wrestling season is upon us, and registration will open September 1st. The team store is already open to purchase team gear. Remember, a portion of those sales come back to the club!

Viper Wrestling, the club wrestling program of East Valley Wrestling Club, is searching for a head coach for our spring 2027 folkstyle season. This person would also serve as an assistant in the fall season if available.

The season will kick off in early January 2027, and run concurrently with a new freestyle/ greco program that will kick off in February.

This would be a great opportunity for a young adult with aspirations of coaching at the high school level in the future, or a former East Valley wrestler that wants to help develop and grow the program.

Must be able to obtain a USA Wrestling leaders membership. The club would reimburse those expenses at the conclusion of the season.

East Valley Wrestling Club is strongest when our families are engaged. We invite all parents and guardians to attend our upcoming General Membership Meeting.

Your involvement truly matters. When parents stay connected and informed, we create a strong and supportive community bridge—from our youngest wrestlers just starting out, through middle school, and into the high school program. That continuity strengthens not only our athletes, but the entire East Valley wrestling community.

Help shape a program that supports wrestlers at every stage

Even if you’re new to the club—or if your child is just getting started—your voice and presence are important. Strong programs are built on engaged families, open communication, and a shared commitment to our kids.The more involved our families are, the stronger our wrestling community becomes.

Freestlye wrestling is here!

Coach Shaun Williams will be coaching. Coach Williams is a former international, collegiate and olympic wrestler, competing for his home country of South Africa.

Practice is in the high school wrestling room.

March 18th- 5:30 to 7:00
March 25th- 5:30 to 7:00
April 1st- 5:30 to 7:00

No practice during spring break.

Starting March 14th practice will be Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00

This program is open to all high school wrestlers, and all current club wrestlers.

This is an amazing opportunity to improve your neutral position wrestling, and improve tempo and pace.

Make new friends and learn the value of commitment and hard work in a fun and encouraging environment.

We had a good representation in Deer Park on Sunday. Our kids wrestled hard and competed well in what was a very competitive tournament with the best wrestlers from around the region in attendance.
