These young ladies finished up their season as silver bracket champs playing up in 16u at the 5th Annual Diamonds Tournament. This group of athletes are something special, being not only talented softball players but really exceptional humans. Being a Mudhen meant you held yourself to a high standard-integrity, sportsmanship, and character. That expectation was not only for the athletes, but the families and friends that cheered them on. We can’t thank everyone that came to cheer our girls on enough for keeping things respectful and positive, and being such great examples. Thank you to our sponsors, our supporters, our sideline siblings who showed up game after game and became little brothers and sisters to the whole team. Thank you to our coaches who volunteer their time and talents to help push these ladies to be a little bit better every day. Thank you to the parents who not only financially supported these ambitious ladies, but also gave up so much of their time. These young women built each other up after great wins, tough losses and everything in between. It’s been our absolute pleasure watching them reach for the stars and work their tails off in pursuit of greatness. In a game of failure heart and hustle goes a long way, and these ladies have that in spades. Our hats off to you Mudhens, it’s been our absolute privilege to cheer you on from the sidelines. Mudhens-Hurley, signing off ✌🏻
