🏆🔥NCS WARM UP INTO FALL CHAMPIONS!🔥🏆

The Bombers brought the HEAT to Bertram this weekend — and we’re not just talking about the 100°+ temperatures! 🥵💣🥎

After making a few adjustments from last weekend, these girls came out locked in and ready to WORK.

💥 78 RUNS SCORED
🔒 Only 23 runs allowed
⏰ First pitch: 8:00 AM Saturday
🌙 Final game: 7:00 PM Sunday
🔥 And over 100° temps ALL WEEKEND

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

🔥 The bats were HOT.
🥇 The gloves were GOLDEN.
🧠 The softball IQ neurons were FIRING.
💨 The feet were FLYING on the base paths.

And best of all…

💙 They trusted each other.
💙 They lifted each other up.
💙 They competed for each other.

That’s the part we’re most proud of.

When mistakes happened, they moved on. When things got hard, they stayed composed. When a teammate needed them, they picked her up. And when it was time to compete, they were aggressive and believed in themselves.

Sounds a lot like our definition of CONFIDENCE. 👀💪

This squad battled through a LONG, HOT weekend and kept bringing the energy all the way through the final out Sunday night.

Adjust. Compete. Trust. Believe. WIN. 🏆

From Canyon Lake to Houston and plenty of stops in between, this group will be competing against strong competition, putting in the work, growing together, and representing Bomber Nation all across Texas. 💪🔥
This season is about more than wins and losses. It’s about COMPETING. GROWING. TRUSTING EACH OTHER. AND GETTING BETTER EVERY TIME WE STEP ON THE DIRT.

🤝💣 TEAMMATES FIRST. BOMBERS ALWAYS. 💣🤝

We spend a lot of time learning how to play with each other… but sometimes you have to slow down and learn a little more about each other, too. 🩵🥎

We paired the girls up for a little Bombers Get to Know Your Teammate challenge — and then put them on camera to see what they remembered. 🎥😂

Some answers were impressive.
Some were hilarious.
And some may have had us wondering if they were listening at all. 🤣

But behind all the laughs was something important:

💙 Connection builds communication.
💙 Communication builds trust.
💙 Trust builds great teams.

At 14U, we're not just developing better softball players. We're building teammates who know each other, support each other, communicate with each other, and genuinely enjoy competing together.

Because when you know the girl standing beside you, it's a whole lot easier to fight for her when the game gets tough. 💪🥎

⚡️ SPEED. POWER. FEARLESS. ⚡️

We’re excited to welcome #7 Aunjulie Leon to the Texas Bombers CTX 14U family! 💣🥎

Aunjulie is already making her presence known as one of the fastest players on the team — and when she gets on base, you better keep an eye on her because she’s coming for the next one. 👀💨

But speed isn’t her only weapon. 💪 She brings a strong bat to the lineup and has already shown in practice that she has OVER-THE-FENCE POWER! 🚀 Her goal this season? Make it official and send one over the fence in a game. We have a feeling it’s only a matter of time. 💣💥

And if you think you found a gap in the outfield… think again. 😏 Aunjulie isn’t afraid to track it down, lay out and DIVE to take a hit away.

🔥 ATHLETE. BALLER. GAME CHANGER. 🔥

We’re going to go ahead and say it…

#47 Shayah Fettig is the REAL DEAL. 😎🥎

From the moment Shayah stepped onto the field with us, you could see it.

⚡ Speed.
🔥 Confidence.
🧠 Situational softball IQ.
💪 Competitiveness.
😤 And a whole lot of HUNGER.

This girl is a BALLER.

Behind the plate, Shayah has quickly established herself as one of our top catchers, and she brings exactly what you want from someone commanding the field from behind the dish.

She sees the game.

She communicates.

She understands situations.

And she isn't afraid to LEAD. 📣🔥

But catcher is FAR from the only place #47 can make an impact.

Need her in the middle infield?

Yep.

Need her at a corner?

Yep.

Need her in the outfield?

Put her there.

Need her to pitch?

Okay… maybe THAT’S where we draw the line. 😂

Otherwise, Shayah is the kind of athlete you can move around the field and trust that she's going to figure out how to MAKE AN IMPACT.

And athlete really is the perfect word for her.

Shayah is a multi-sport athlete who doesn't just participate in whatever sport she’s playing…

🏆 She wants to EXCEL at it.

That competitive drive carries straight onto the softball field, and it's one of the reasons we're so excited about what she can bring to this team.

She wants to learn.

She wants to compete.

She wants to WIN.

And she has the confidence to step into big moments and OWN THEM. 🔥

💣 INTRODUCING #10 — SOPHIA “GIGI” LOPEZ 💣

🧤🔥 FEARLESS. QUICK. ALWAYS LEARNING. 🔥🧤

Sometimes a player walks onto the field and it takes about five minutes before the coaches start looking at each other like…

👀 “Okay… WHO is that?”

That was #10 Sophia “Gigi” Lopez. 😂🔥

From the moment we saw Gigi at open practice, you couldn’t help but watch her ROCK IT on the field.

Defensively, this girl is something special.

She’s fearless, has incredibly quick reflexes and isn't afraid of a hard-hit ball coming her way. Put #10 on the dirt and she’s ready to attack the play. 🧤💪

And we already know…

🔥 GIGI IS GOING TO HELP TAKE THIS DEFENSE TO THE NEXT LEVEL. 🔥

But one of the things we love MOST about her has nothing to do with how quickly she reacts to a softball.

It’s how much she wants to UNDERSTAND THE GAME. 🧠🥎

Gigi might officially hold the team record for…

🙋‍♀️ MOST QUESTIONS ASKED. 😂

And coaches LOVE IT.

Because she isn’t asking just to ask.

She wants to know WHY.

Why are we making that play?
Where should she be?
What should she be reading?
What happens next?

That curiosity, combined with an already strong softball IQ, tells us #10 isn't satisfied with simply being a good athlete.

She wants to become a smarter BALLPLAYER. 🔥

And she’s putting in the work to make it happen.

Gigi supplements team practices with additional lessons and training because she is disciplined, dedicated and hungry to get better. 📈💪

That work ethic shows us we can coach her hard, challenge her and continue raising the bar.

And while she’s been busy earning the trust of her coaches, she’s also fitting right in with her new Bomber sisters. 💙

We’ve had our eye on this one for a while… 👀

#9 Layla Campana is officially a BOMBER! 💙💣🥎

There are some players who simply play softball…

…and then there are players who genuinely LOVE THE GAME.

Layla is one of those players.

You can see it in the way she pitches.
You can see it in the way she plays defense.
You can see it when she steps into the box.

No matter where you put #9, she steps onto the field with confidence and a willingness to compete. 🔥

Layla is a TRUE utility player who can help this team all over the field, but when she steps into the circle?

👀 Things get REALLY interesting.

As one of the strongest pitchers joining our staff, Layla comes equipped with quite the toolkit:

But what excites us just as much as Layla’s talent is what happens when things get HARD.

She can DIG DEEP.

When the innings get long, the pressure builds and her team needs her to stay strong, Layla has shown that she can find another gear and keep battling until the job is finished. 💪

She wants the win.

And she’s willing to work for it.

Layla is also incredibly respectful — the kind of player coaches can count on for a “Yes ma’am” or “Yes sir,” followed by something even more important:

👉 She actually IMPLEMENTS the coaching.

Give her something to work on and she takes it seriously. She listens. She adjusts. She competes.

That combination of talent + coachability + confidence + love for the game is exactly why we are so excited to see what #9 brings to this team.

We’ve watched Layla for a while.

Welcome back #2 Kalena Orta!

Kalena is one of our OG Bombers who played with us in 12U before aging up and moving on to 14U last season.

But guess what?

🪃 SHE CAME BACK.

And she came back STRONGER THAN EVER. 💪🔥

Kalena is the kind of player coaches love to have on a roster because she is disciplined, hardworking and ALWAYS ready.

She gives it her all.

She prepares.

She listens.

She competes.

And most importantly…

🏆 SHE PLAYS TO WIN.

There’s a quiet confidence about #2 that has earned her the respect of her teammates. She doesn't have to be the loudest person on the field to make her presence known.

But crack that quiet shell a little bit and you'll quickly discover another side of Kalena. 😂 She loves to laugh and have fun with her Bomber sisters — she might just make you work a little harder to get it out of her!

Then she steps into the box…

…and it’s back to business. 😎🥎

Kalena brings a STRONG BAT to our lineup, but what makes her even more dangerous is her patience. She’s willing to wait for her pitch instead of forcing something that isn't there.

And when she gets THE pitch?

💥 LOOK OUT.

We’ve got another Bomber knocking on the door of that first OVER-THE-FENCE HOME RUN, and #2 is getting CLOSE. 👀🚀

The power is there.

The patience is there.

The work ethic is there.

And right now?

We couldn't be happier to have Kalena back where she started her select softball journey, and we are SO excited to see how much she continues to grow this season.

💪 QUIET. TOUGH. HUNGRY. 💪

Don’t mistake quiet for timid.

#22 Presley Sambrano may be one of the quieter players on our roster, but there’s a reason for it…

👂 SHE’S LISTENING.

Presley pays attention. She takes in the coaching. She learns. She works.

And then?

📈 SHE GETS BETTER.

The growth we’ve seen from #22 has been awesome to watch, and she continues to work her way further and further up our lineup because this girl plays like she has something to prove. 🔥🥎

Presley simply LOVES THE GAME, and it shows in the way she competes.

And let’s talk about TOUGH. 😳

The kind of hit, collision or ball that might have a grown adult questioning all of their life choices? 😂

Presley?

She stands her ground, brushes it off and gets ready for the next play.

That girl is TOUGH. 💪🔥

Behind the plate or holding down the corners, #22 isn't afraid to put her body on the line to make a play. She competes hard, keeps learning and continues to become a more complete softball player every time she steps onto the field.

But underneath all that toughness is one of the kindest players on our team. 💙

Presley has a sweet heart, cares about her teammates and is exactly the kind of player you want beside you in a dugout.

And that whole “Presley is quiet” thing?

Yeah… that apparently only applies until one of her softball sisters is at the plate. 😂

📣 THEN WE HEAR #22 LOUD AND CLEAR!

Because when it’s time to cheer on her teammates, Presley makes sure her Bomber sisters know she has their back. 💣💙

Quiet enough to listen.
Tough enough to take the hit.
Hungry enough to keep climbing.
Kind enough to always have her teammates’ backs.
