The strongest horse and rider bonds don't come from the easy horses. They come from the relationships that get tested. The ones that would've been easier to walk away from. The ones that came with setbacks, frustration, tears, second guesses, and moments where neither side seemed to understand the other.

The horse that never scares you, never frustrates you, never challenge you, never makes you question yourself.... that isn't where you grow.

Some of the deepest bonds are built with the horses that make us grow.
The ones that expose our weaknesses. The ones that teach us patience.

The ones that force us to become better communicators, better riders, and sometimes even better people.

New Star Farm currently has 5 stalls available, and we are looking for either new boarders or another trainer to join our small, welcoming facility.
We offer a friendly, low-drama environment filled with horse-loving equestrians who value proper horsemanship and quality English riding instruction. Specializing in Eventing, I focus on individualized training with a horse-first mentality.

Played around a little today with Romeo, old man 22yr old war horse! Trying to pony the young horse Nyx. You would think that the young horse would’ve been a little bit more to handle but no Romeo was like we’re back at the track!

I had the most fabulous last couple days. I took Remi up to Willow Draw with a group of my students and I got to play. Needless to say I am ashamed of how out of shape I am. It was oh my God shocking to me!!! I was dying! 🤯 But with that said, every ounce of my being is so sore, but I am proud of myself…. This is the first time I’ve actually went out with intention to go school cross country since 2018.😳🙄💃🏼☺️

Today for the first time in like, oh I don’t know how long!!! I jumped! Remi was a solid citizen and he needs to find his person. I was not still. I was not quiet and he was like whatever woman, let me just do my job. Yay me. 💃🏼😎🦄. Thank you, Caitlin for helping me get through some fears today.
