When Luis came to play at one of the premier football programs in the entire United States in high school, he had minimal experience playing the game. Just the confidence to come in and attempt to play in a program like Lake Travis helping everybody around the world and says enough. But this guy elevated his teammates due to his work ethic tenacity, and just passion and desire to give everything he possibly had. When you have someone like that around you, it elevates everyone. But he was also a sponge, a student of the game and everything he could to catch up. We’ve seen this guy with enormous odds of competition in front of him and surprise everyone again and again. He parlayed that into multiple college programs in Texas including Texas Tech as a DB. And it’s a great lesson not just for the teammates, but for every athlete, it doesn’t matter where you are; It’s always is your ceiling. When you have the right attitude and determination, your ceiling is always the highest. Will this be like Travis‘s first Olympian? standing.
