Here we go again! Invite your friends 😁 This week's route for the Kandi Group Riders is at the bottom 🎆

There's a few extra hills on this one that are easy to bypass if desired 💪🙌

Meet at the New London-Spicer Middle School parking lot (rollout at 6:30pm). It's behind the high school next to the tennis courts.

-Wear a helmet ⛑️
-2 wide riding at the most. We're on open roads and don't want to irritate drivers
-Use a blinky rear light if you have one!
-Bring what you need
-The group will likely split up - we can discuss that before rollout. We hope to have enough riders so no one needs to ride alone! 🤞
-Know the route and/or how to get back in case you lose the group!! There are no sweepers nor a sag wagon... I can't go looking for you if you get lost - I have kids bedtime to get back for!

Here's the route for this week! If 20 miles is too long, you could take the state trail back and cut off 7 miles or so...

Group Ride Starting May 20th!!

The plan this season is as follows:
- Wednesday Evenings, 6:30pm rollout
- Meet at the New London-Spicer Middle School Parking Lot in New London (see pic)
- We'll probably have rider speeds ranging from 13-20mph, so we'll likely break into smaller groups as the ride progresses. Jedd Danielson will roll with the front group, and others such as Carl Holm, will help with groups that may form behind the front group.

I'll (Jedd) post the route from Strava each week on this page. Routes will be in the 20+/- mile range.
Bring what you need, make sure your bike is in good working order (stop by Rick's Cycling and Sports Center and I'll tune it up for you!), and WEAR A HELMET.

****Update: sold!****

If somebody is looking for a used carbon road bike that is in perfect condition, we have this one at the shop. The link is below, but it's a Specialized Roubaix Comp, and it would fit someone about 5'2"-5'7".
I'd probably sell it for $400 to someone in the Kandi Group Riders, but otherwise $500. Cheapest new carbon road bikes these days are $3000+ (although they are pretty sweet 😋)

For many reasons there will be no group ride this evening.

Hopefully next week will be a good one!

Scattered rain showers over southwestern MN will become more widespread this afternoon. Rain should last into tonight before it tapers off for most of the region by Wednesday morning. Rain chances continue through the rest of the work week with another warm up expected Thursday and Friday.
