*The students also have the experience of learning Dance Improvisation and Choreography as a part of their entire dance training.
*Individual attention is given to every student and clases are basesd on ability so students are comfortable and enjoy learning to dance.
* We have various guest teachers throughout the year in African Drumming, Acting, Musical Theater and more. Students are given many opportunities to perform throughout the year. We culminate the year with a stage performance because we feel it is a good experience for the children to be able to perform for an audience, and they look forward to doing it. However, we don't spend all year teaching them one dance. Our philosophy is to teach them HOW TO DANCE, NOT TO JUST LEARN A DANCE. Our classes are kept at an appropriate size so each child receives individual attention for correction and encouragement. We emphasize proper training so students have the necessary skills to go on to a professional level of dance if they choose.
