Each year, Jeff Parker sponsors a Turkey Hunting Seminar at Parker's Archery. Preston Crabtree, Pro Staff for Primos Game Calls and Mossy Oak Camo, has been the guest speaker for the last several years. Preston is a well known turkey hunter and does an excellent job of sharing his experience and techniques as well as the latest and greatest products from Primos. There is lots of great video footage, retail products, door prizes and snacks for all to enjoy! Be sure to watch this page next year for details on the spring 2011 Turkey Hunting Seminar. The Spring 2011 Seminar was a great success with approximately 80 veteran and new turkey hunters in attendance. Preston Crabtree, shared his turkey calling techniques and encouraged the new prospective turkey hunters to give it a try. There were great hunting videos and Preston explaining how and when to use each call. Conservation Officer , Dale Clark, presented the legal and safety aspects of hunting and was available to answer questions throughout the evening. Jeff Parker conducted the door prize drawing and I doubt that anyone walked away without something! The final event of the evening was a drawing for a free turkey mount service, provided by Jason McKinney
of Wild Nation Taxidermy. The drawing was for Youth only and the turkey must be taken during the Youth Hunt weekend!
