Studio Y offers dance lessons for 2 year olds thru adults! Styles: Groovement, Pre-Dance, Hippity-Hop, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Baton, Pom, Hip-Hop, Company Team, Technique, Musical Theatre & Private Lessons! Studio Y also offers gymnastics lessons! Tiny Tumblers 1 & 2 and Level 1-4!

Our competition team spent the day at Terrace Beach for their yearly summer bonding! 🏖️

Sandcastle contests, Catch an Answer: Beach Ball Edition, awards from 2025 season, swimming, TikToks, LOTS of laughs… and of course, a few bee stings because apparently we needed a little drama. 😂🐝

Take your ballet training to the next level! Whether you’re beginning your pointe journey or continuing to build strength and artistry, this class is designed to develop technique, ankle stability, and graceful precision in a focused, supportive environment.

Class Details:

🗓️ When: Thursdays | 7:30 – 8:15 PM

📍 Where: Spencer YMCA (Studio B)

Have you always wanted to try ballet but didn’t know where to start? Our Adult Beginner Ballet 6-week sessions at Studio Y offer a supportive, low-pressure space designed specifically for adults.

No tutus or prior experience required! Just a welcoming environment to build strength, improve posture, enhance balance, and enjoy the beauty of dance at your own pace.

🗓️ When: Fridays | 10:00 – 10:45 AM

📍 Where: Studio B @ Spencer YMCA

💲 Fee: $50 for Y Members | $100 for Program Participants (per 6-week session)

Regular dance classes officially begin on Monday, August 31st.

Please check the 2026–2027 Studio Y Information Guide to confirm your dancer's specific day, time, and studio location.

Session Classes Start Dates: (can register for online at spencerymca.org)
Mommy & Me: Starts Wednesday, August 26th 6-6:30pm
Adult Beginner Ballet: Starts Friday, August 28th 10-10:45am

Arrive 5 minutes early with hair neatly pulled back, proper dance shoes/attire, and a labeled water bottle.
