Hey everybody! I am so excited to be your instructor at BHCC!

A little bit about me, I grew up in Rapid City and recently graduated with my bachelor’s in exercise science from Black Hills State.
I was an athlete for most of my childhood/teenage life which helped me choose my college major. However, I never liked working out alone and it was hard for me to be consistent with any workout I tried. A studio opened in Spearfish and I reached out to do an internship, before I even knew it I was starting my certification. I taught reformer Pilates for over a year here in Spearfish, and after it closed I was able to open my own studio with my best friend. I just couldn’t leave the reformer in the dust! Pilates is different than any other workout I have ever done, it has challenged me and changed me in ways I would’ve never expected and I can’t wait to share it with you!

I’m a mental health counselor who loves to mix mindful movement with mental wellness. I bring a supportive, grounded approach to Pilates to help you feel strong, present, and connected in your body.
I believe movement can be intentional, empowering, and (dare I say) fun.
I love closing class with a moment to slow down, take a breath, and acknowledge what you just did…because showing up for yourself deserves to be noticed. 
Outside the studio, I’m focused on fun, family, friends, food, my fiancé and our dog Bonnie!
