🏐 WHAT. A. CLINIC. 🙌🔥

We are so thankful to LOVB player Sophie Fischer for spending the day in the gym with our athletes for an incredible hitting clinic!

Our girls got to learn some of the same techniques, details and habits Sophie has developed throughout her journey at the University of Georgia, with the U.S. Women’s National Team, and now professionally with LOVB. 🇺🇸🏐

From approach and footwork ➡️ arm swing and attacking ➡️ high-level warm-ups and preparation… Sophie gave our athletes so many little details they can immediately take back to their teams and continue working on.

But one of our favorite moments came after the volleyball stopped. ❤️

During our Q&A, Sophie shared about her journey, her testimony and, most importantly, her relationship with Jesus. 🙏

That’s what made this day so special.

Yes, we want to help athletes become better volleyball players. We want them learning from people who have competed at the highest levels of our sport.

But volleyball is bigger than volleyball. 🏐✝️

We want our athletes to see examples of what it looks like to pursue excellence, use the gifts God has given them, and understand that their identity and purpose are about so much more than what happens on the court.

Thank you, Sophie, for pouring into our athletes, sharing your knowledge, answering their questions and being willing to share your faith with them.

And thank you to every athlete and family who joined us! We loved having you in the gym.

🙏 PRAYING OVER OUR SCHOOLS

Tomorrow, a new school year begins for so many across our community. ❤️

And before the classrooms fill, before the practices begin, before the first assignments are given… we want to pray.

🙏 For our students — that God would protect, guide and strengthen them.
🙏 For our teachers & staff — that God would give them wisdom, patience and encouragement.
🙏 For our administrators — that they would lead with courage and discernment.
🙏 For our coaches — that they would recognize the incredible influence they have.
🙏 For our families — that homes would be filled with love, grace and peace.

Over the past several months, hundreds of athletes from 108 different schools have participated in Legacy programs.

When we think about that number, we don’t simply see athletes or schools.

We see an opportunity for impact.

Hundreds of young people walking into classrooms, locker rooms, gyms, hallways and communities where they have an opportunity to encourage someone, serve someone, love someone and shine the light of Christ.

And today, we pray over all 108 of those schools — and every school throughout our community. 🙏

To every student, teacher, staff member, administrator, coach and family beginning a new school year:

This is more than a volleyball clinic.

It’s a place where athletes are encouraged, challenged, and surrounded by coaches who genuinely care about who they’re becoming—not just how they play.

🏐🎉 THEY DID IT! 🎉🏐

Over the past month, athletes from 27 different schools, 9 volleyball clubs, and 4 different states accepted the Legacy 252 Challenge.

Together, they committed to growing mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially, following the example of Luke 2:52.

Along the way, each athlete had the opportunity to complete:

🏐 6,300 Wall Passes
🏐 6,300 Wall Sets
💪 1,250 Squats
🔥 1,250 Seconds of Planks
📚 Hours spent reading and growing their minds.
📖 A Bible verse hidden in their hearts.
❤️ Countless texts, notes, and words of encouragement shared with others.

That isn’t just a workout.

That’s commitment.
That’s dedication.
That’s discipline.

Most importantly, it’s a passion and desire to grow closer to Jesus while becoming the complete athlete.
