We at the Stars - Bennett 16U/HSU program believe the most important step forward in any team is a commitment to character. In our world, character trumps talent. We can teach anyone how to be a better ballplayer. Only you as a parent or parental figure can instill the character part. Our job as a team and coaches are to reinforce those grounded traits. We believe in a fresh start, and we speciali
ze in players who need a clean slate. Maybe they’ve been burned out on the grind of travel ball or had their confidence beaten down. Maybe they’ve made some mistakes in life. Whatever the reason, when a player comes into our program as a full-time player they start with a clean slate. It’s God’s grace that makes the difference. We look for leaders in life who just happen to be softball players. If you’re looking for a team that instills a winning tradition over character and integrity, then we are not for you. Do we want to win? As the Bible says, what does it profit one if they gain the world and lose their soul? Our soul is deeply embedded in building the character of our young ladies and encouraging their spirit. Our passion is for you and your players to grow and thrive as a person in preparation of life. We intend to fill up one team, but if more comes than we have places for, we will gladly expand to more. Softball is a means to an end, and one day it is our goal for our graduated players to return as coaches. Take some time and think, what means the most to me? There’s a way to win on the ballfield. There’s a way to win in life, and on the ballfield.
