While most of the Upstate was still asleep, the team at CCS was already at work.

Greens & Grounds preparing the course. The kitchen getting breakfast ready. Golf Operations making final preparations. Department after department working behind the scenes to ensure everything was in place before the first player was announced on the tee at 6:45 a.m.

Hosting the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX is about more than great golf. It takes teamwork, planning, and a commitment shared across the entire Club.

This is a look at what happens before the crowds arrive, before the cameras roll, and before the first shot is hit.

Another strong weekend for CCS junior tennis! 🎾

Adair Wall put together an impressive run to the finals of a major junior tournament in Belton, competing in the Girls 16 & Under division.

Along the way, Adair defeated the No. 3 seed in a third-set tiebreak and followed it up with an 11-9 third-set tiebreak victory over the No. 2 seed in the semifinals.

After two hard-fought wins against top competition, Adair advanced to the championship match and finished as tournament finalist.

Congratulations to Adair on a tremendous weekend and a great showing for CCS junior tennis! 👏

Tournament week is almost here at CCS! ⛳️

To help members prepare for the BMW Charity Pro-Am, Tim Ryan from the BMW Member Council walks through everything you need to know before arriving at the Club, including parking, member entrances, shuttle transportation, member-only areas, and tournament week expectations.

We look forward to welcoming members for another incredible week at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

The 64th Men’s Invitational brought everything that makes this tournament one of the best weekends of the year at CCS. Three days of great golf, nonstop laughs, incredible food, late nights at the Club, and memories that will be talked about for a long time.

Thursday night’s paintball battle got the competition rolling early 💥 while Saturday’s Luau completely stole the show 🌺🔥 From hula dancers to the fire show under the lights, the atmosphere was unreal.

And through it all, the golf delivered. Huge congratulations to Mark Nowell and his guest Joel Kozak on an impressive win and a well-earned Invitational title 🏆👏

Thank you to every member and guest who made this weekend what it was. The energy around the Club all weekend long was something special.

State Champions. And a whole lot of CCS behind it. 🎾🏆

This past weekend, Spartanburg High School captured the State Championship in dramatic fashion, powered by a core group of CCS Junior Tennis players who rose to the moment when it mattered most.

Facing a 1–3 deficit and elimination, the comeback started with Wade Neely, who delivered a clutch straight-set win to keep hopes alive. Thomas Cheek followed with a dominant performance to level the match and force a decisive doubles showdown.

With everything on the line, Hudson Chung and Thomas Cheek took control and never looked back, sealing the championship with a commanding 6–2, 6–1 victory.

Composure. Competitive fire. Big-match performance.
Exactly what CCS tennis is all about.

Congratulations to these players and the entire Spartanburg High team on an incredible run, and to Coach Steven Larkin for leading the way. 👏

We couldn’t believe the neon, the headbands, and a few familiar faces channeling some unforgettable 80s characters as members showed up in full force for Back to the 80s Night at CCS. 🌈🕶️

The courts were filled with energy, great tennis, and plenty of laughs from start to finish. 💥

A great night with even better company!
