Another spectacular double double performance from Khalid Wannamaker 1 rebound away from a triple double .. We have a back to back this weekend ready to get on the floor
Omar Jabbi claims ECBL weekly honour(Hoops Agents)
Omar Jabbi (187-G-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for Rowan County Bulls and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 27-year old guard had a double-double of 54 points and 14 rebounds, while his team was edged out by Fayetteville P. ( #2, 2-2) 155-153. Bulls maintains the 5th position in their group in the ECBL . They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 4 games and had no victories. In the team's last game Jabbi had a remarkable 72.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Bulls and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Jabbi has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 53.0ppg. Jabbi is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 67.2% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was shooting guard Khalid Wanamaker (193-SG) of Let It Fly WebDogs. Wanamaker impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 42 points and 10 assists. Bad luck as Web Dogs lost that game 124-131 to slightly higher-ranked CRL Crusaders ( #3, 1-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Southwest Division. LF WebDogs still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Wanamaker is well-known by LF WebDogs fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 47.0ppg ( #2). His other stats are also decent: 11.0rpg and 9.0apg.
The third best performed player last round was Isiah Cureton (196-F) of top-ranked PrimeTime Players Basketball. Cureton got into 30-points club by scoring 40 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds . Despite Cureton's great performance the Players lost 101-111 to #3 ranked QC Vipers. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing PT Players needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Southwest Division. Their record is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Cureton has a great season in ECBL. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.5ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 14.0rpg (4th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
