The 5G family would like to begin by thanking each and everyone of you for the overwhelming Prayers, support and LOVE. We have taken this time for our family to PRAY about the future of 5G. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to use the facility during this tragedy. After careful consideration we have decided to extend a huge opportunity out to the public. We want to see this vision carried out for all athletes in the upstate to have a first class facility to train in. There has been many people reached out to us about wanting to buy the business and now is the time. There has been around $150,000 invested in this facility with turf, netting, equipment etc. All of this equipment as you know is barely used, the entire facility is still like new. The decision has been made for our family to take a major loss and sale the business for $75,000. That is our family investing half to help see the vision fulfilled. The building is leased from a upstate investor that has been great to work with. We can give further details about the building terms with any serious buyers. Time is of the essence and this facility needs to be back up and rolling asap. We can get someone setup and up and running in no time. What a HUGE week for high school baseball!! LOTS of talent displayed by this weeks Players of the Week!! Congratulations to the following players…

Jack Clark from Landrum Cardinals Baseball with a game-winning RBI!!

Byers Smith and Braeden Harrison from Dorman High School Athletics. Byers went 7 for 9 and Braeden went 7-12 with 2 dingers!!

Jacob Cogdell from Chapman High School Baseball who pitched 5 innings with 6 K’s and the W that forced a playoff for 1st place!!

Jackson Reel from Boiling Springs Bulldog Baseball who was 5 for 7 for the week!!

Davis Rising from Chesnee High School who had an amazing night going 3-4 with 6 RBI’s!!

Cam Moore from Broome High School!!

Deacon Cox from Spartanburg High School who attracted a lot of attention last week in Blythewood!!

And David Mershon who went 5-9 with 2 HR’s this past week that earned him the QAB helmet at Eastside High School!!

Coach Jeff Moon was born and raised in Boiling Springs, SC where he currently resides. A popular name in the upstate for baseball, during his playing years he was a successful pitcher/player until injury struck, and then the coaching began.

Spartanburg, S.C. – Following a sweep of S.C. State on Tuesday afternoon, Upstate swept Campbell in a double-header on Saturday. Game one brought a 4-2 victory followed by an 11-1 walk off after Sarah Price hit her first career grand slam.
