Know before you go: you have around a half mile hike after the paddle portion to reach the waterfall. (9.22.26) This is on a man controlled lake and lake levels will continue to be brought down the rest of the season as expected! 🙌

Thank you to this wonderful crew for doing an amazing job participating in the KAT Challenge today! 🚮 They came ready for competition! 💪 We appreciate them looking out for trash during the trip and also making sure the area looked better than they found it when we all left! 👏 🎉

Our winner 🏆 today was Michelle!! She did a wonderful job searching for trash during the trip today!! 🤩 She was also happy to take trash from others as well! She was named the trip winner at the end by group vote! 🙌🎉

We made it all of the way back to Monday!! 🎉 Happy start of the week! 🙌 We hope you had a great day! We had plenty of fun and laughs with new and returning kayaking family 🤩 Today is supposed to be the last blazing hot 🥵 🔥 day and we took full advantage of the cool water at Burgess Falls! Goodbye heat dome, hello cooler temps! Here’s to plenty of more adventures ahead! 💪 Stay tuned 😉

* 9.21.26 **You cannot paddle the full way to the bottom pool..I carry my own kayak up for our group to paddle around the bottom*** We parked our kayaks at the half mile mark and hiked up today due to the water levels. Remember that this waterfall is on a man controlled lake that is slowly brought down to winter pool starting in June. Rain doesn’t always equal higher lake levels. 🌧️

Absolutely love September at Burgess Falls 🤩 The wildflowers are popping, the waterfall is flowing just enough to fall asleep to its relaxing sounds and the waterfall pool is calm for playing. ♥️ (9.18.26) Worth the kayak then hike this time of the year. 🫶

TGIF!! We made it to Friday again fam!! ♥️ It was blazing hot 🥵 today but we had a fabulous day with new and returning kayaking family!! 🙌 We enjoyed the cool water for a long as possible, soaking in every last bit of it before we paddled back! We saw TONS of wildlife today including three bald eagles 🦅 , a cormorant, an osprey with dinner and plenty more! Amazing day!! 🤩🔥

This osprey nabbed a huge dinner and had to land low enough to show it off to us! 🤩 Osprey’s are some of our friendliest raptors on the lake and always a treasure to see! ♥️ Definitely the biggest fish I’ve seen one of them retrieve in a while! 🐟

Happy Waterfall Wednesday!! 🎉 Thank you to new and returning kayaking family for making it a fantastic day on the water! It was super hot 🥵 but we had a blast! Everyone had so much fun hanging out and just enjoying the whole journey! ♥️ It was a beautiful day on the water! 🤩
