FRIDAY GAMEDAY BREAKFAST BUDDIES!

Alleghany High School Athletics is excited to kick off a new program this year — Friday Gameday Breakfast Buddies!

Friday morning, members of our Varsity Football and Volleyball teams, along with our Cheerleaders, spent time with students at Sparta Elementary. Our athletes welcomed students as they got off the buses, helped greet students in the car rider line, and then sat down and enjoyed breakfast with them.

We want our student-athletes to understand that being a Trojan is about much more than what happens on the field or court. It’s about leadership, character, being a positive role model, and giving back to our community.

We are excited to continue Friday Gameday Breakfast Buddies throughout the year and give our younger students a chance to connect with the high school athletes they look up to.

The Alleghany High School Athletic Department will be hosting a mandatory parent meeting for all FALL student-athletes and their parents on Monday, July 27, at 6:00 PM in the Alleghany High School Cafeteria.

This meeting is for parents of athletes participating in Football, Volleyball, Men’s Soccer, Cross Country, Women’s Tennis, Women’s Golf, and Cheerleading. We ask that all parents and guardians make plans to attend.

Important information regarding the upcoming FALL sports season will be shared, including athletic department expectations, policies, and other updates. Following the general meeting, each sport will hold its own parent meeting to discuss team-specific information, schedules, and expectations.

We look forward to seeing everyone as we kick off another exciting year of Trojan athletics. Go Trojans!

Attention Alleghany High School Student-Athletes and Parents!

DragonFly registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open for all student-athletes. If you are a returning athlete, do not create a new DragonFly account. Simply log in using the same account you used last school year and complete all required eligibility forms. While completing your forms, please be sure to update the sports you plan to participate in during the upcoming school year.

If you are a rising 9th grader, you may continue using the same DragonFly account you used in middle school. You will need to request to be added to Alleghany High School within DragonFly using the school code TB88UU. Once your request has been submitted, a member of the Alleghany High School Athletic Department will approve it. You will still be able to complete all required eligibility forms while your request is pending.

If you attended Heart of the Trojan, your physical will be uploaded into DragonFly by the Alleghany High School Athletic Department. Completing your DragonFly account as soon as possible will help ensure you are eligible and ready to participate when practices begin.

🏈 THE COUNTDOWN TO FOOTBALL SEASON IS ON! 🏈

Football season is almost here, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back on the field! One of the best parts of every summer is the opportunity to work with our youth—the future of Alleghany Trojan Football.

Our Youth Football Camp is all about teaching the fundamentals of the game, building confidence, developing great sportsmanship, and continuing to build a football program that our players, families, and community can be proud of for years to come.
