John Bush is hosting a NSCA Level 1 Instructors Course this weekend. The candidates taking the class need students to instruct as they fulfill their requirements to become certified instructors. All experience levels are welcome to participate. There is no lesson fee, you just pay for clays thrown and ammo. Call the store if you're interested in being a student. Saturday 1pm, Sunday 9am, Sunday 1pm.

One of the best sights you’ll ever see in the outdoors happened at Old Hudson Plantation this morning.

While checking the quail fields, Zac had to stop and watch as a wild mama quail carefully led about 20 tiny chicks across the road right in front of him. Moments like this are a reminder of why we put so much effort into habitat management and conservation.

It’s hard not to smile watching those little fuzzballs hustle along behind Mom!

We were lucky enough to capture it on video, and we couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. Nature has a way of giving you unforgettable moments when you least expect them.

👀 FAN CLUB SIGHTING! 👀

While filming scenes for Old Hudson Plantation’s bid video this weekend, the camera crew spotted a familiar sight…

Another John Bush Fan Club member in the wild. 😂

What started as a few Christmas shirts has somehow taken on a life of its own. Since then, Fan Club members have been popping up at Old Hudson… and even at other clubs… just to surprise John.

This weekend, the Fan Club made sure it was represented during filming with a custom back patch that was impossible to miss.

If you happen to spot a John Bush Fan Club shirt out in the sporting clays world, be sure to snap a picture. At this point, they’re becoming as common as target setters with radios and shooters blaming the wind. 😄

Thanks to everyone who came out to help with the bid video. The laughs, friendships, and little traditions like this are exactly what make the Old Hudson family so special.

On Saturday, July 18th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, we’re inviting all of our friends, members, and supporters to help us make a little history.

We’ll have a professional film crew at Old Hudson Plantation creating promotional videos that we’ll use in our bids for future championship events—including the World English Sporting Clays Championship and World FITASC—as well as future advertising as Old Hudson continues to grow.

The best part? You could be in the video! Whether you’re shooting, laughing with friends, enjoying lunch, or just taking in the day, your presence helps showcase what makes Old Hudson such a special place.
