The Studio

THE STUDIO offers women's indoor and outdoor bootcamps and personal training. Her biggest athletic accomplishment to date is completing an Ironman at age 50.

THE STUDIO was established in 2015 in Sparta NJ and is owned and operated by Donna Villavicencio. Donna is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Ironman Triathlon Coach and a Certified RRCA Level One Running Coach. Donna also co-created/founded the Sole Sisters Running Club of Sparta NJ and has competed in many running and triathlon events of all dis

tances. She is very passionate about helping women reach their potential and realize they are capable of anything they put their mind to. In addition to virtual and outdoor fitness programs, THE STUDIO will be offering individual and small group running and triathlon training starting in early 2022.

The Jim Thorpe Area Running Festival was such a blast this weekend! Train ride out to the start and then you run back on a rail trail that runs along the beautiful Lehigh River. I highly recommend! I did the 7 Mile yesterday and my Renee did the marathon today. She, as always, killed it and I did so much better than I expected. Felt so good to do a race again even though my "racing" days are over. Especially when you do it with friends! Already planning our next adventure. 🏃‍♀️

So happy "the kids" were able to join us last week for the parental weekly training sesh with Ann & Stan. And congrats to their beautiful future daughter-in-law and son who will be wed in September!

Our summer session is right around the corner and we are ready to BRING IT!!! Four great classes per week - two in the am and two in the pm - with a focus mainly on strength with a lil cardio to keep that heart rate up! Circuit, timed intervals, bootcamp, Pump (barbell), a little boxing, BunzCore&More (weights, bands) - a sweet mix of fun formats! All fitness levels are welcome! WOW!!! What an amazing run some of my and I had today in Pittsburgh. I have to say it was kinda emotional. I really thought my longer distance days were over but today got me pumped up and feeling incredible. After a few rough years for both of us, my dear friend Wendy and I got back into the game doing run/walk intervals (you gotta try it, there's def something to this method) and finished the half feeling comfortable and happy. Next up our girl Renee kicked b***y in the full and placed 6th of 116 in her age group. And then our girl Erin not only beat her goal but did it with negative splits!!! Who does that?!?!!! And it was Renee and Erin's 10th marathons and we were there to celebrate!!! And on top of all this, we got to spend time with Erin's family whose dad also ran the full (he's a 73 yo badass) and brother, sister and brother in law ran the half. Seriously, it was just such an amazing day. Can't wait to see what our next adventure is!!! 😂

One year ago today I experienced one of the happiest moments of my life while living one of the worst experiences of my life. A moment of joy in a time of isolation and fear. I had been in the hospital for 22 days at this point being treated for leukemia. Unfortunately, my babies were not allowed to come visit me at all during my stay. At that time, the policy was no one under 18 on the leukemia floor since so many of us were immuno compromised and let's face it, kids are pretty germy especially during the school year. While I did see my kids on FaceTime and they did text me the occasional pic, I craved seeing them in person. It was so hard. And then this beautiful moment. One I will cherish forever. My girl, the girl everyone in the world would be so blessed to know, Danielle , called me and told me to look out the window. I immediately started to sob 😭😭😭 because I knew who would be five stories down and a few hundred feet away and the tears kept rolling. There they were. Holding signs and yelling into the phone. Ugh. My heart. It broke and at the same time exploded with joy. Literally one of the best moments of my life. (And also pretty funny if you read Lila's sign. But that's another story.😂).

This face. ❤️ Can you even?! My little shadow no matter where I go. Unfortunately for him, he didn't get his daily walk because momma didn't want to walk in the rain. So he laid here staring at me as I walked on the dreadmill. He's always supportive. My little guy.

Baby Killian putting everyone else to shame doing Superman. He's definitely our little hero and we're gonna miss him when his momma goes back to work. Well, we're really gonna miss momma too. ❤️ you so much Hopefully we will see you for some drop ins in the evening!
