I said to my Betty VanPatten we are getting old. Of course she shared you are. I’m getting younger daily!
And that is true.
Many have known me in life by a nick name “BigRig” it was given to me long ago by a friend who spotted me pulling into a gas station. Driving a suburban pulling a snowmobile trailer. “That’s a big rig”
I’ve always loved snowmobile drag racing. The passion the racing community has for racing is very strong.
And like every thing in life it takes extreme hard work to be successful!!
Saturday night was a celebration of a very special meaning to so many of us. We caught up with long time friends we’ve lost contact with. The snowmobile racing world is deep with passion.
To say I’m perfect is laughable. None of are. Always remember there’s always 2 sides. Speak with people make your own decisions.
Betty and I have decided to step away from the many non profits we have supported in our lives for decades.
We decided it’s best to give and really give to it hurts.
God has been good to us both. And now it’s time to make a deffernce.
May 18th is our annual wonderful community event, Sparta Town and Country Days!
Our community gathers to celebrate our Town and Country!
We are going to use the platform to kick off and bring back FFA to our School District.
Future Farmers of America is so much more than Farming.
It’s about cultivating young people to be good hard-working people.
It’s ok to carry a toolbox 🧰 to work. We need awesome smart young adults to do so many great jobs.
Come watch the greatest parade in the world!! You will find many great tractors at the end of the parade.
Lots of events happening. Many non profits will be serving and giving back.
Make sure you do your research. Always give where they give back to your communities!
Stay tuned as we continue putting details together.
Please understand. Betty and I love our community. We have decided to focus on what we as a couple, can do to giveback.
It’s YOUR money give it to the right non profit.
Like one of my long time mentors always says at every end of our conversations.
Thanks. 🙏
