🔥 WHAT A WEEKEND IT WAS!! 🔥

This crew headed down to Flickerwood Arena in Jackson, MO, over Labor Day weekend for Cindy’s Labor Day Blast , and these kids did NOT disappoint!

🐴 3 days
🐴 12 horses
🐴 20 competitive runs
💰 Checks won
⏱️ PRs crushed
❤️ And a whole lot of memories made!

From our Peewees all the way to our Open riders, these kids understood the assignment. The growth we continue to see in their control, confidence, consistency, and overall horsemanship is what makes me the most proud.

They have put in the work, and it shows every single time they step through that alley. Some brought home checks, some walked away with new personal bests, and every single one gained more experience to carry into the next run.

We say it all the time — speed will come. But never forget the 3 C’s: CONTROL • CONFIDENCE • CONSISTENCY. Build those first, and the clock will take care of itself.

At the end of the day, our #1 goal will always be to have fun, make memories, grow as horsemen and horsewomen, and ALWAYS stay safe.

So incredibly proud of this crew and everything they continue to accomplish. Keep putting in the work, kids — it’s showing. 💪🐴❤️

🐴✨ A Little Belated DuQuoin Show Recap! ✨🐴

I’m a few weeks late getting this posted, but these riders deserve their recognition! We headed to DuQuoin for the Southern IL Equine Group Show, and I couldn’t be prouder of how everyone stepped into the arena, tried something new, and represented Knop Equine so well. ❤️

🌟 Abbi & Dezi
This was Abbi’s very first time showing English, and she absolutely rocked it on our girl Dezi!
🥉 3rd — Hunt Seat Under Saddle
🏅 4th — Hunt Seat Equitation
Such a great first English show with so much more to come!

🌟 Jonah & Thunder
Jonah showed our boy Thunder and did an amazing job! More importantly, he had an absolute BLAST doing it. Sometimes the biggest win is walking out of that arena with a huge smile and already wanting to do it again. ❤️

🌟 Bev & Sinatra
Talk about a first show!! These two had an amazing weekend together and came home with:
🏅 4th — Saturday
🥉 3rd — Sunday
🏆 CIRCUIT CHAMPION — Western Horsemanship!
And did I mention this was their VERY FIRST SHOW?! What a way to start!

🌟 Tonya & General Lee
These two are becoming quite the pair, and every show they continue to click more and more!

Saturday:
🥇 1st — Hunt Seat Under Saddle
🥇 1st — Hunt Seat Equitation
🏅 6th — Ranch Rail

Sunday:
🥇 1st — Hunt Seat Under Saddle
🥈 2nd — Hunt Seat Equitation
🏅 4th — Ranch Riding

🏆 CIRCUIT CHAMPION — Hunt Seat Under Saddle
🏆 CIRCUIT CHAMPION — Hunt Seat Equitation

From first-time English riders and first-ever shows to big wins and circuit championships, this weekend was full of growth, confidence, new experiences, and a whole lot of fun.

So proud of every one of these riders and our horses for taking care of their people. ❤️🐴 Another great weekend in the books for the Knop crew!

Last night we headed over to Ewing for Wildfire’s final Wednesday Night Jackpot Series, and these girls absolutely showed just how much work they’ve put in this summer! ❤️🐴

Talk about GROWTH, GRIT & IMPROVEMENT! Every one of these teams has something to be proud of!

🌟 Millie & Rain 🌟
This was their very first series together, and watching them blossom as a team has been such a joy! They started the season running a 24-second pattern and came into finals laying down a 17-second run! 🤯👏 They finished the series sitting 3rd overall in PeeWee, barely missing that Reserve Champion buckle.

But that buckle doesn’t even begin to measure their success. Millie and Rain have only been running together for about a year, and the progress they’ve made is incredible. This is definitely a duo to watch! I couldn’t be more proud of them!

🔥 Clara & Hank 🔥
These two found a whole new gear this year! They started the season running in the low 18s, and by the end they were consistently clocking in the low 16s! They finished the series sitting 3rd in the 2D Youth! Watching Clara and Hank click more and more with every trip into the arena has been so much fun. So proud of this team and everything they accomplished this summer!

❤️ Sinatra & I ❤️
We stayed super consistent throughout the entire series. We may have missed bringing home a buckle, but Sinatra finished as Reserve Champion in BOTH the Adult 2D & Adult 3D! I’m incredibly proud of this horse and how consistently he showed up for me all summer. ♥️

🏆 KINLEY & TRIGGER — YOUTH 3D CHAMPIONS! 🏆
And then there’s Kinley and Trigger!

These two had a little bit of a rocky start. Trigger challenged her, but Kinley refused to let that stop her. She stayed determined, kept putting in the work, and WOW did it pay off!

They started this season running in the 24s and worked their way down to consistently running in the low 17s…

AND THEY CAME HOME WITH THE YOUTH 3D BUCKLE!!! 🏆🔥

It really wasn’t that long ago that Kinley was such a timid rider. If you watched her ride today, you would never believe she was once that kid. Her confidence, determination, and horsemanship have grown tremendously, and I couldn’t be more proud of her!

This is why we put in the work. It isn’t always about where you start or even about the buckles you bring home. It’s about the seconds shaved off, the confidence gained, the partnerships built, and becoming a better rider every single trip into that arena.

What a summer, girls! SO proud of every one of you! 🐴♥️🏆

🔥 Wildfire Youth Rodeo 2026 is a WRAP! 🔥

And this team SHOWED UP and showed off all that hard work they’ve put in all season long!

Throughout the season, we had around 23 Knop Rodeo Team members competing at Wildfire. This past weekend was finals weekend and officially brought the 2026 season to a close — and what an outstanding weekend it was! These kids absolutely shined! ❤️🐴

We had several kiddos finish Top 5 in their events, and those who didn’t crack the Top 5 were right there in the Top 10! But even bigger than the placings were all the PRs, confidence gained, goals reached, and growth we saw across the board this season. THAT is what makes me the most proud!

🏆 Ending the season, our Top 5 winners are:

⭐ Carly & Cajun — bringing home the BUCKLE in BOTH Junior Barrels AND Junior Poles! What a season for this team!

⭐ Tonya & Tulsa — even after missing several rodeos this season, they worked their way up to 3rd Overall in Junior Barrels!

⭐ Tonya & Rebel — finishing 2nd Overall in Junior Goat Tying!

⭐ Savana & our girl Lily — finishing 2nd Overall in Senior Steer Daubing!

⭐ Braelynn & Cougar — finishing 4th Overall in Senior Poles!

⭐ Braelynn & Cruzin — finishing 5th Overall in Senior Barrels!

Congratulations to ALL of our kiddos who competed this season! Whether you brought home a buckle, landed in the Top 5, hit the Top 10, set a new PR, conquered a fear, or simply became a better horseman than you were at the beginning of the season — you accomplished something worth being proud of.

Another Wildfire season in the books and another year of memories with this crew! ❤️

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this season possible! ❤️ From the parents and families, cheering, helping behind the scenes and supporting these kids every step of the way, to the Wildfire crew and everyone who puts in the work to give these kids a place to compete and grow — thank you! It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for everyone who played a part in making the 2026 season another one to remember. We couldn’t do what we do without all of you! 🔥🐴❤️

So proud of our Knop Rodeo Team and the work these kids continue to put in. Until next year, Wildfire! 🔥🐴

Run Free, Sweet Sally ❤️

Today our sweet Sally girl crossed the Rainbow Bridge to meet all of her buddies in the green pastures of Heaven.

Her heart and spirit were still fighting to stay with us, but her body finally told her it was time. At 36 years old, if you looked into her eyes, you never would have guessed her age. Her body may have been tired, but her spirit never was.

This past year of retirement was hard on her. She loved having a job and loved watching over the little riders who adored her. It was obvious she missed being part of the action.

Many people don’t know Sally’s story unless they’ve been with us from the beginning. She came to us at 28 years old—a stage in life when many horses are overlooked simply because of their age. But we’ve always believed every horse deserves a chance, no matter the number of birthdays they’ve celebrated. I saw the fire in Sally’s eyes and knew she wasn’t finished yet.

Teaching a 28-year-old horse the game of barrel racing isn’t something you hear about every day, but Sally poured her whole heart into it. In her very first year, she helped one of our peewee riders win a buckle and a saddle. From there, she went on to help countless young riders find confidence, chase dreams, and fall in love with the sport.

Sally wasn’t just a lesson horse. She was a teacher, a confidence builder, a babysitter, a best friend, and the first partner for so many kids who took their first steps into the arena. She gave so many children the opportunity to believe in themselves, and she did it with the biggest heart.

While our hearts are broken, we’re thankful for every single memory she gave us. We find comfort knowing she is no longer limited by an aging body. She’s running free again, with her ears up, her legs strong, and that fiery spirit finally able to keep up with her heart.

Thank you, Sally, for every ride, every lesson, every smile, and every child whose life you changed.

Run free, sweet girl. You will always be part of the Knop Equine family, and you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. ❤️🐴

This past weekend, 17 of our rodeo team members competed in Ewing, IL for the Youth Rodeo at Wildfire Ranch and across divisions Senior, Junior, Peewee, and Leadline!

One thing that makes me the proudest isn’t just the placings—it’s the dedication these kids show every single week. They spend countless hours riding, learning, practicing, and caring for their horses to become the best horsemen and horsewomen they can be.

Success doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from consistency, hard work, and the willingness to keep learning, and this team embodies that every day.

I’m so proud of each and every one of you for representing Knop Equine & Cattle with sportsmanship, determination, and heart. Keep trusting the process—the results will continue to follow! ❤️🐴

We’re missing a few team members from this snapshot, but I was able to grab a photo with most of the crew together! Be sure to drop your favorite photos from the weekend in the comments below—we’d love to see everyone’s highlights! 📸❤️
