🏹 STATE TOURNAMENT SUCCESS!

Huge congratulations to our White County Archery teams for an outstanding performance at the State Tournament!
🥉 The WCHS 3D Team brought home 3rd Place in the State!
Individual Standouts:
🏆 Justin Cannon (12th Grade): Shot an impressive 290, earning the highest score for all high school males AND the Overall Male 3D Award! He’s also coming home with a brand-new Genesis bow! 🏹🔥
🥈 Sami Benson (Middle School Bullseye): Shot an impressive 280, placing as the 2nd highest female shooter among all middle school girls!
We are so proud of the hard work and precision these archers showed on the big stage. Way to represent White County!

Our kids are putting in the work during Spring Break! State tournament is 10 days away!

Our archers stayed busy and focused this past weekend, competing at the Creek Winter 3D Classic (Stewart’s Creek Middle) on Friday night and the Bulldog Bullseye Shootout (Prescott Middle) on Saturday.
We are incredibly proud of how these student-athletes represented our school.

The International Bowhunting Organization is excited to partner with SMHS Archery Team and Coach Thompson to bring a Regional IBO 2026 World Qualifier to Tennessee!

Classes offered will be Genesis, and Adult Genesis.
