Tips and guidance for racers coming to the track for the NWKA Super Cup.
If you're heading south on Highway 7, once you see the Mountain Highway Church on your right, you will want to move into the center turn lane and start slowing down. Both gates will be on your left, just past 246th St Ct E.
If you're heading north on Highway 7, you will want to start braking before you would pass 248th St E. Do not go down 248th St E, as it does not lead to the track at all, and is difficult to back out of with a sizeable RV/trailer.
Gate 1 will be open Thursday from around 10 AM until 8 PM. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Gate 1 will be open by 7 AM, closed from first session onwards, and open again after the last session completes.
If you're outside those times, Gate 2 is the reliable standby. It will be open nearly all weekend. Gate 2 is the gate you should use for most of the weekend. You should generally avoid the pit area and Gate 1 unless you need to. This minimizes the traffic through the pits.
When you arrive with a trailer, you will be guided to your pit spot by Brian VerDuin. If your tow rig / RV is particularly large, you may consider going through Gate 2, finding Brian, and we can use the forklift to bring your trailer into the pit area.
If you are emptying contents of a trailer and then wanting to park it somewhere outside the pits, there's a designated lane of trailer parking in the back along the property edge (see map).
If you have an RV, camp trailer, etc. there is a water fill on the way to the back of the property (see map). There will be a parking attendant out roaming the back area on Thursday to guide people into position. Please do your part by minimizing space usage, as too much space between cars and RVs eventually ends up reducing car parking spaces.
We have spaces designated with handicap parking signs on the grass near the caretaker's house (see map). Note that by Washington law, we can have vehicles fined/towed for improper use if necessary.
If you have any questions ahead of the event, text (or call) Brian VerDuin (+15103169914).
Looking forward to seeing everyone, and thanks for coming to our Super Cup! -BV
