I just want to share some of the resources I use to train for myself. But even so, I plan to eventually resume seeing a personal trainer. All of these are available to use as free versions.
For Running, I enjoy using the Adidas Training App. Simple to use with some basic programs available to build a foundation of. This app also has some decent social networking to it.
For bodyweight strength I recommend Thenics App which is great especially for people with limited equipment and/or space (or during peak hours where all the machines are taken). This app also offers low-price plans to stimulate the feeling of using a Personal Trainer but does not fully replace the benefit as there isn't someone guiding you through form corrections. While I love the level-based systems, you could easily skip to advanced workouts that could cause harm to yourself if improperly approached and I highly recommend working with professional supervision through these skills.
For nutrition (which is out of the scope of practice of a personal trainer who is not certified as a nutritionist or dietician such as myself), I recommend MyFitnessPal. The free features for diet and exercise logging are great for anyone trying to start a new focus on their health. It also helps to build a social network centered around eating tasty, healthy foods together.
I am also affiliated with a game focused on health and wellness that will be coming out for mobile but it is in development. There are no affiliations or promotions I'm pushing on this post. The only intent here is education.
Thank you for reading. If you'd like to connect to my fitness network on any of these platforms please send a message and I'll respond as soon as I can.
