The shoulders are at ease. The jaw is relaxed. The lower body is fully engaged.

The standing foot is actively pressing into the mat. The pelvis is tilted and the work leg is lifting, lowering, bending, and stretching all with control.

By the end the working leg feels like it weighs a ton. The back of the thigh is speaking loudly and the standing leg hip is clapping back. Body awareness, strength, and stability are all gained from this exercise— the movements aren’t big, but boy, they sure are effective.

Let’s get back to it. 💪🏼
