As silly as it sounds, the hardest part of the past almost 2 weeks, has been remembering to eat. 😳
I know often in my mama days (especially if my husband is at work and isn’t there to make sure I eat) I’ll cook my kids their meals, grab a handful of pretzels and move on with my day.. lol
It’s so easy to just grab a “snack” and go about the running mom list in my head. But taking the extra few minutes to make sure that I’m actually fueling my body has been very eye opening! It’s crazy how much more energy you have when you actually eat to fuel your body! Who would have known 🙄🫣🤦🏼♀️😂
Mama’s this is the importance of making your own health a priority too!! If you don’t feel good enough to make it through the day happy, then something has to change! Those extra few minutes I’m giving myself are not the end of the world. The house is still standing. The kids are still happy little meatballs. Nothing has been ruined. We can take the few minutes. Our bodies, and our families will thank us! ☺️
