He is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. He is also one of the few in the metroplex who is certified by the Cincinnati Sportsmedicine in Sportsmetrics, a program scientifically proven to decrease serious knee injuries in female athletes. Randy has developed an excellent reputation by delivering per
formance enhancement and injury prevention training to many athletes in the Dallas and Fort Worth area. His programs focus on injury prevention, speed, power, neuromuscular control, core strength, agility, hand-eye coordination, reaction quickness and flexibility. Randy has trained, both the girls and boys JV and Varsity basketball teams for Carroll as well as the basketball programs for Flower Mound, John Paul II, and Fort Worth Christian. He trained the Tejas Volleyball Club for six years and was just awarded the opportunity to train the Texas Advantage Volleyball Club. Randy has also trained many soccer athletes from Carroll and various soccer clubs around the metroplex. His specialty and passion is training and re-conditioning athletes to prevent and recover from ACL and other serious knee injuries. Many local orthopedic physicians and physical therapists utilize and recommend Randy for his expertise in the areas of injury prevention and post-rehabilitation. He is considered an expert at addressing functional deficits in areas related to overall health of the knee and pelvis. Randy has authored two research papers focused on the high incidence of serious knee injuries in female athletes.
