🌱 Go me-I am getting Monday and Tuesday’s pics up by Tuesday. 😆 It’s Tuesday right? Feels like a long week already!

🌱 The great part about a workout program that is only 4 workouts a week is that I’m already half way done with week 3!

🌱 I’m missing my Barre workouts so that’s on the schedule tomorrow.

🌱 I swear every Monday I plan to post and get caught up. Then it’s Wednesday and I think I might as well group the pics into one photo at the end of the week. Now it’s already several weeks worth of pics🤦🏼‍♀️

🌱 The good news is that it’s never too late to try and get organized!

🌿Well, I made it to day 30 of 31 in January until I couldn’t resist the urge to lift heavy.

🌿I also made it to week 5 of Barre Blend. I love Barre! It works your legs a lot! And everything else lol. But I think my legs (knees) need a little break from that 5 days a week. Even though I modified-I have scoliosis and knees that don’t face straight forward-sometimes I have to be a little cautious.

🌿So, I have a new plan. LIIFT4 is 4 days a week of weights, core work and HIIT on some of those days. (I will totally be modifying that part as needed.)

🌿That leaves me 3 days a week to finish out my Barre Blend and weekly yoga.

My first week of Barre Blend Workout is complete!


I missed one day so doubled up on Friday. Normally something I don’t like to do, but I knew I had a busy weekend. And it’s completely okay to do an hour of Barre.


I shared the last image as I wanted to show you how you can still get your heart rate up with a low impact workout. Weights used…1 to 2 pounds.


And while those little affirmations (that sometimes appear like a magic carpet in my pics) coordinate with most of my outfits, the odd part is I randomly pick them after I am dressed.


Off to get ready for my Sunday Funday!

Shifting my focus this year towards more Pilates, Barre and Yoga based programs.
There are a lot of calendar variations to do!

I’m officially starting Barre Blend tomorrow. One of my goals this year is to add more yoga in. So although my workout weeks are typically Monday through Sunday, I went ahead and got my yoga session in for the week. Wanted to start 2023 off right😉

I see a theme here…


One thing I am focusing on this year is being more gentle on my body. I love lifting heavy, and I might sneak a heavier weightlifting program in at some point.


For now though, I have plenty of options to explore in the Barre, Pilates and Yoga categories!


I wanted to work on increasing my flexibility too. I love that there is a calendar that has one class for each week of the year. If I can do more, great! If not, I can feel good committing to one session a week!

So thankful to wake up this morning and realize that it’s not 2022 anymore.

Well, that was fast! Changing my name on my FB page took seconds-not minutes, hours or days….
🌿
Last year I started with No Jump January. My competitive (against myself) nature took over…and I was back to intense workouts.
🌿
Seeing my mom made me think about a lot of things. Especially doing things now so I can be healthier and active when I’m older. I’m not exactly a Spring chicken now, but I still plan to be here a while!
🌿
So I’m switching gears to modifying when I need to and being okay with that. Maybe I can help others be okay with that too.
🌿
I’m still Vegan.
I still love at home workouts.
I still love fashion (the Mod part).
And I’m learning to do things so I can age well.
